SMW is very competitive with all the top boys fairly evenly matched. Not arsed about this decision to be fair. Degale talks like a chavvy wigger, it's cringy! He's certainly no Froch or Calzaghe.. Good but sporadically so. I still think Groves has his number..

    Official Score Cards

Looking at these cards, I only had rounds 1,6,8,12 as clear rounds. all 3 judges agreed with that. It's those other rounds that are a little different because they were too close.

I personally had it 114-112 for Jack but I can't complain a lot of close rounds, just hope there's a rematch. What I find hilarious is people screaming "Jack was Robbed" are the very same people who justified the kovelav-Ward decision which was a real robbery.

As if proof were needed that Floyd is a classless a-hole who would be inside if it wasn't for boxing, the post-fight proved it.

I had Jack by 3 rounds, but there is no doubt some of the rounds were close. The worrying thing is, had Jack not scored the kd in the 12th, he'd have lost a unanimous decision....and that would not have been fair in anyway.

I missed this one (was planning to get up for it but fell asleep lol), scoring it now:
    Round 1: 10-8 DeGale
Round 2: 10-9 DeGale very close
Round 3: 10-9 Jack very close
Round 4: 10-9 Jack very close
    Round 5: 10-9 DeGale close
    Round 6: 10-9 Jack
    Round 7: 10-9 DeGale close
    Round 8: 10-9 Jack
Round 9: 10-9 Jack very close
Round 10: 10-9 DeGale very close
Round 11: 10-9 DeGale very close
    Round 12: 10-8 Jack

113-113 draw on my card, I split the 6 very close rounds 3-3 and gave two other close rounds (5,7) to DeGale.

I'm fine with the decision, yes Jack did more damage and won round 6,8 and 12 very clearly, but the round scoring helped DeGale out.

2-1 Degale was how I had it starting off.

I scored it just for Jack with the knock down in the final round, but with no certainty. But I won v-cash on a draw so no complaints for all sorts of reasons...

I scored it 7-5 for Jack I thought his punches were the heavier blows and he pressed forward. Similar to Ward vs Kovalev. However Degale was far more active than Ward with his hands. This fight was close but I am glad Degale did not get the win. If I rememeber right I gave rounds 1-3 for Degale. (3 to me was a swing round) and rounds 4-9 Jack. 10,11 close for Degale and round 12 for Jack.
This fight like Kovalev Ward shows why compu box doesn't tell the whole story as it doesn't factor in who has the heavier hands. Jack much like Kovalev to me, punches were far more effective and did more damage. But at least Degale fired back rapid combinations even if many hit just the arms and gloves. Good fight would love to see a rematch.

You picked a Draw! Nice! I always thought a draw was a possibility, because when you get the best fighting the best you get these even kind of even fights. That said I gave Jack 8 rounds and Pinoy gave him 9, so to me it was a clear comfortable win for Jack imo.

Well we're looking at the fight from such different PoVs we'd get into Dino levels of tit-for-tat postings if we were to debate this, lol. But I thought Chunky built up a big lead in the first half of the fight and Jack was left with a lot to do. A UD without the knockdown in the last round would have been a joke though, and that's where it was headed....
