If I was a boxer, I'd move to England not the USA. Sure seems like boxing is growing there while it's declining here.

If you allign with Hearn then yes. Their PPV model is fair too but you have to work hard to become a marquee name like Froch and Joshua did.

Just a pity that most are instantly sold to legalised ticket tout websites and most fans will have to pay way over the stated price when they get them online. Funny that when a average working class man sells tickets at a mark up it's an imprisonable offense but when a dot.com businessman does it, it's apparently fair game. But it's through these bulk sales that promoters can claim rapid sell-outs. 80,000 tickets have been sold but not 80,000 fans have bought them. Not yet...

This is proof that the UK specifically London has now become the mecca of Boxing.

Boxing in the USA has now fallen like the great city of babylon

We should have a over/under betting market on just how many times he mentions his big night in wembley when commentating on AJ vs Wlad.

I reckon over 3 should be the favourite at around 10/11

If there's more than 80,000 at Wlad vs AJ, I suspect Carl will suddenly have a very selective memory and forget his favourtite fact all of a sudden. Deep down, he'll be gutted....

Nah, he'll just spout the same number I reckon. He might even claim that such fights happening in the U.K. are a proud part of his legacy and in fairness Carl made Matchroom what it is today with the Bute and Groves fights so he'd have a point. I actually hope he never sees the post or he'll start trying to claim that he brough big time boxing back to the UK and how anyone fighting in a stadium should be thanking him for opening the door.

"So AJ now you know what it's like to spark someone out in front of 80,000 people after I did that first a few years ago will you also be getting a nose job?"
