He fights wild, does not keep his hands up to block punches too often, but has good power, pretty much prospect in making if he returns to boxing.
Prospects to look out for in 2017! 1.Bogdan Dinu will rise in all organisations rankings this year and I think he will have at least 4 fights this year.Good for Granat that their fight with Dinu did not happen, he would ko him cold. 2.Sergey Kuzmin, I think he is poised for busy 2017 and also will have some decent, good wins on his record this year.World of Boxing do not do many shows in a year but I think he will have at least 4 fights this year against decent opposition, he had 3 fights last year so he is moving at steady pace. They are moving him like Sauerland moved Pulev.I think he would pick apart someone like Ugonoh if they would ever fight. 3.Agit Kabayel is a fast boxer-puncher with kickboxing background and if I am not mistaken he had 40 amateur fights in boxing. He will fight Hebeux next, who is not the worst opponent to face but, I think Kabayel will be too big, too fast and too powerful for him.Wach is next after that, so he will be in some decent fights.Later in a year, he will be ranked by one organisation or even in few organisations. 4.Junior Fa.Fa will be a contender in some time.It is time step up for Fa this year.He has been prolific against lesser opposition so far, I think we will see him in a proper fight late this year. 5.Although relatively unknown Nick Webb looks promising, his high volume punching looks impressive.I want to see him in a proper fight late this year.I do not think he can win the title, but maybe he will be a contender in the future. 6.Timur Musafarov or by his current name Timur Stark. He has lost 2 fights by debatable decisions. He will fight for the EU title next against Zsolt Bogdan.I think he needs at least 4 fights this year, so he can get big names after. To be continued.....
He had the second operation, he is recovering, I think he will return in mid 2017 earliest, if not retirement is likely.

Dinu shouldn't be #1 on track record alone. On the eye test he's certainly up there, but until he takes the initiative and does something of note in the division it's hard not to write off the strong possibility that 2017 won't be yet another wasted year for him.
I do not think he belongs to top 8 but he is certainly better than Browne, Spilka, Whyte, Teper, Molina, Ugonoh and others.
You're not getting what I'm saying man. Dinu is probably the real deal, but after years in the pros and not much to show for it - a little hard to rate him highly or say that he'll have a breakthrough year. I've been hoping for this since at least 2012. Would be delighted if it happens, but I'd be surprised if it does.
Am I the only one that is sceptic about Dinu? Everyone says he is super good, but actually he is stucked in the time and is aging. For me he could be in top15 just because the divison is weak right now.
