Im not sold on him. The way he was dropped by Mora just doesn't allow me to think he stands a chance against Golovkin.

Why is everyone on YT saying how smart Jacobs is, ascribing an abnormally high ring I.Q. to the guy for never making any adjustments. First they overrated his power power now they are advancing this narrative on how he is so smart.

Lucky for GGG he never fought Pirog because by all these Jacobs is so smart idiots, Pirog must have been a freakin genius. Made Einstein look like drenlou.

I think this is harder than determining the terms 'floored' lol.
Sure every punch hurt, but I think when people use the term hurt in boxing, to me it has to at least exhibits characteristics such as:
Cover up with no return punches after the hurt punch, running around the ring avoiding exchanges, or in the case of severe hurt, reeling around the ring, holding for dear life or spaghetti legs.

 

GGG is trying to hard though. It's like when Fedor tries to show no emotion. Right before the Werdom fight, ring entrance as the camera cut to him he showed nervousness and a look of being shook, then he realized the camera was on him, he hurried back to his no emotion face. Now we have GGG here claiming nonsense when we all seen this guy buckle a couple times against Brook.

 

Just to follow up from earlier posts, Brook snapped his head back a few times no doubt but I don't think he was hurt. Though I suppose it depends what you consider hurt. Did he feel it? Sure, no doubt. Was enough pain inflicted to make him concerned or change his plan in any way at all? Nah, I don't think so. Was there any danger of him being properly rocked nac backing up against the ropes? Also no, imo. Particularly if you compare it to Brook in the first round where he staggered and held, that was properly hurt.

And on the other topic that seems to be doing on, I consider Drenlou to be a pretty balanced poster. The prediction thread is a much nicer place than the rest of the forum.

He's been buzzed once by that Amri guy. Since we do know how that looked, it's safe to say Brook did not have the same effect on him.
I can't believe this is really an argument, everyone who's ever boxed knows the difference. I've been hit flush a couple of times and wasn't hurt/buzzed in that moment, but it still hurt plenty a day after

People should watch the Brook fight with the sound off and watch GGGs legs when brook unloads on him.

GGG is the biggest hype job for many a year.

 

I share the expression of the guy you have in your Avi, in regards to brook hurting GGG in the second round!! Lol
