Yeah tyson has to be one of the one of the obvious ones of all time, guess that's why his loss is the biggest upset ever. Who thought anyone would nullify the power, speed and aggression at his height? Added to the fact it looked like he couldn't be hurt. I remember the douglas fight and not comprehending it for a good few weeks such was that aura.

That's correct. They had that aura of such confidence and the press buy in to it and then so do the general public. So when they lose its more shocking

37 title fights, 27 world titles, 13 years unbeaten , 89-0. Rosario, Limon, Haugen, Camacho, Taylor, Ramirez, etc . Any ATG also beat more tomato can than big names since everybody started from zero.

The first Tarver fight was kind of bad omen though. There's already a hint and sign what will come.

While i regarded Curry extremely high he was always going to rise in weight pretty fast and with guys like Hagler and Hearns up there i knew he was up against it. Didn't expect things to unfold quite so early and flatly however.

Speaking of which I was pretty surprised when Donaire lost.

I thought Nonito was simply too big, fast and powerful to lose any time soon at super bantam and that Rigondeaux as good as he was would get pounded into the floor.

    Shows what I know.

Mike Tyson & Roy Jones are obviously obvious. But how about Tito Trinidad? For a while there I was beginning to root for fighters I hated like DeLaHoya and Fernando Vargas to put a stop to his reign. Then he kept going up in weight. I'm glad Hopkins got his chance to prove his greatness because Trinidad was headed towards a beat down at the higher weights eventually with RJJ in his future.

Michael Nunn looked like he was headed for immortality as well.

    and yet he won them.

even more naive to think no boxer struggles in some fights at world level.

so actually your OP is not naive.

LOL! You have added nothing to this thread other than to diss other legitimate poster's views. You are obviously just an agitator living in his mother's basement. I hope no one else on this thread or on this forum responds to your bile again, because I certainly won't.

He proved himself by knocking out foreman though, a man who would go onto knock out Michael Moorer 20 years later.
