It's a pretty crappy match up (though not crappy as Garcia-Salka, Garcia-Morales I, Garcia-Morales II, or Mayweather-Berto), but it would be the biggest fight ever in Australia and I think that can bring a new, untapped audience to our beloved sport. If it's PPV, I'll still buy it, but it will be the only Pacquiao PPV that I won't be HAPPY to be paying for.

This will bomb on PPV if Arum puts this fight as a PPV and this is a mismatch.

Morales was the WBC 140 pound champ and Garcia was the mandatory. Who did you expect Morales to fight, a Bum to milk the title lol... there was also a rematch clause.

This fight is horrendous and should be criticized just as much as
Mayweather vs. Berto (actually more, Berto was at least a known
    commodity).

Man Pacquiao hasn't had a soft touch in like 13 years. Seriously, besides Chris Algieri name me one soft touch he's had since 2004 when he beat up 3K Battery. The man is past his prime. He has nothing to prove anymore. He's fought an absurd amount of great and good fighters. Let him fight some domestic level guys for once.

I'm not being critical of Pac, I respect his resume. I blame Arum solely for this. I think Pac
should go enjoy his retirement, he's fought the good fight long enough. I don't wanna
seem him go out on his shield against someone beneath him (and if he stays around
    long enough, he will)

When you said Horn I thought about that idiot that used to be Mike Tyson's manager.

To be fair Horn is #2 ranked in IBF and WBO and is ranked in all organisations, in the scheme of things because the UK is such a big audience in boxing there are a lot of way less accomplished British names in boxing talked a lot more about in social media who deserve much less of a mention than Horn.

I'm not saying Horn is a legit match for Pacquiao right now, I'm not sold on it being a great fight even with Pac being past it - but I am a little over "I've never heard of him" being a legit evaluation of a figher's accomplishments.

I've seen most of his fights over the last 2 years, and I've heard of much less interesting fighters from the UK because of the noise and influence the UK have at the moment.

It could be a fun fight to watch, even if it's not as competitive as we'd like to see. It's still arguably less "hand picked" than how Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua are making their defenses so far in terms of fighting a skilled opponent.

He already did it with berto, and it tanked. At least this is likely non ppv and it is in horn hometown.
