The European Boxing Union decided that the winner of the fight for the vacant European title heavyweight between Agit Kabayelem (15-0, 12 KOs) and Herve Hubeaux (26-1, 12 KOs) will have to cross gloves with Mariusz Wach (32-2, 17 KO).

37-year-old Wach few weeks ago was appointed to duel with Kabayelem the belt EBU, which previously belonged to kubrat pulev. Promoters German won the tender for the organization of the fight, but Wach has not signed as contract because of physical incapacity.

The Golden medal of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the super heavyweight Tony Yoka signed a professional contract with a group of Ring Star, which belongs to Richard Schaefer, the former executive director of the Golden Boy Promotions.

24-year-old Frenchman amateur rings also won gold at the World Championships and bronze at the European Championships in 2015. Five years earlier, he won the youth Olympics, where in the finals defeated Joseph Parker, the current world champion WBO heavyweight.

Group Ring Star previously signed contracts also with several other Olympians from Rio. Schaefer soon will organise its galas, working closely with Al Haymon.
