Jermall Charlo Vacates, moves up to 160 pound division!

    It's official! Jermall Charlo is invading the MW division in his next fight!

    “Now he has to become a contender up there. He has to fight his way up the same way he did at 154,” said Ronnie Shields, Charlo’s trainer, in an interview with *******.com. “I am not in a rush. Jermall is a young guy. It’s not like he’s an old guy where you’ve got to rush him into something.”

    “I don’t want to see him fight nobodies,” Shields said. “He’s going to fight guys and get into contention right away. But at the same time, I don’t want to put him in with GGG right now. He has to get a feel of the division first and see where we go from there. I really haven’t started looking yet. I am looking at guys in the top 15 in the world. We’ll be looking at guys like that to see where we are.”

    With Charles inclusion to the MW division, that's adds a little more depth.. Thoughts?

    Yes it does add depth to the MW division because I think Charlo is a good talent. Despite this we still need to see him in with a couple top 15 MWs to let him adjust and then go from there.

    I would love to see Canelo vs Charlo. I think he takes it to Cinnamon but loses a close fight.

    That's great news as finally this division could really hot up,re what they said about GGG and not facing him for some time I do believe this is how Oscar and Canelo should have played it,I mean we all want that fight but you can see some double standards re Canelo and someone mentioned it the other day on here,after he beat Cotto and Khan they had Kellerman in their faces doing his thing and with the way Canelo replied it only served him to look bad,they should of said look after just a few fights at the bottom end of middleweight we gonna work through the division,I've given Canelo and Oscar some stick for that but I can see double standards for sure?

    Not right now. Charlo has to get a feel for the division first, so there's no rush on their part for a Golovkin fight right now. But possibly next year sometime I think the fight could happen.

    Um really? 160 is Bumland so no adjusting needed right?
    That's according to you guys, division is weak as hell and this guy was a champ and top 5 at 154 who walks around 175.

    He should be gunning for top guys right away, if he needs adjusting in Bumland what does it say about him?
