Hold on, what happened to all the claims that MW is a weak division? Why does he need to warm up in bumland? Isn't the king of that division a bum, who feasts on lesser bums?

Horrible argument. Brook also knew he had no chance in hell in winning that fight. He jumped from 147 to 160 for a payday he had no intention at staying at 160. That would be like Charlo jumping from 154 to 168 to fight DeGale or Jack a fight he would have no shot at wining either.

Yeah I mean a top 3 guy from one of the hottest divisions in boxing moving up to Bumland and walks around 175 is looking to face a top 15 opponent?

If you need to get 'a feel' for Bumland then you ain't that good...

And the boss of the devision is a bum. With three belts! That's a grab and snatch job for someone like Charlo!

I think he will do well at 160 because the division is ****. That doesn't mean he doesn't need a fight or two to adjust fighters have been doing that for years regardless of how weak or strong a division is. Did Crawford move up to 140 and go right for Lucas Mattyssee? No he tested the waters before taking on the guy in Postol who ended up beating Mattysse.

Once Canelo moves there it has potential to be pretty good division if Charlo adjusts to the weight well.

I think its foolish for any fighter to not take an adjustment fight or two at a new weight before taking on a top 5 guy. Your body often functions differently at higher weights, its good for a fighter to climatize to that. If theyre smart.
