It must be a class and generational thing then. I was raised in Detroit and no one I was around used or uses the "n" word to describe someone else. Even Richard Pryor stopped using the word in his comedy routines. The old racists in the South used to sometimes add an "a" at the end and called Blacks "ni*gra". It felt the same to me as adding the "er" at the end. People can say whatever they want, especially over the internet where there are no repercussions, but I have a hard time respecting any one who tosses around the "n" word.

 

It simply doesn't tie into the fantasy you've created in your mind. A racist simply wouldn't consistently associate himself with a race he dislikes.
