Dislike of Khan aside, IN WHAT WAY DOES BROOK DESERVE 40% ?!

Kell Brook is financially ducking Khan if he's not willing to accept his true value.

Why? Because is Khan and Brook were to box an equally-ranked fighter on the same night in the UK (that's where a Brook vs Khan fight would take place) but on different shows, more people would tune into watch Brook and the networks would be more interested in Brook also. He's passed Khan in terms of relevance to world level boxing and did so by taking on GG and being competitive without being one-punch KO'd like Khan was against Canelo. That's the show reel moment people remember from that fight. The work he did before then, was wiped out when he was. Brook is the A-side now, no way should he take 40% in that context. So Brook isn't ducking Khan in a sporting or business sense.

Khan is the bigger draw financially, draws bigger numbers. Everything else is absolutely irrelevant and just pointless rhetoric.

Not in the UK - where the Brook vs Khan fight would take place. Remember Brook is a Sky/Matchroom fighter and Khan is not, and it would be that combination of network and promoter which would stage the fight. In that context - the correct context - Khan's relevance had slipped behind Brook's.

That's because Khan hasn't fought in the UK in a long time, he's out there chasing bigger markets because he's more of a draw than Brook - Khan will add more numbers internationally, too - American and other countries. In UK Khan would draw even bigger numbers on the same platform.
Brook needs to stay in his lane.

So what % is khan actually asking? brook should just consider taking the split, Ko'ing khan will be worth its weight in gold, its not like he won't still be well paid.

Brook needs to win the Royal Rumble first to get King Khan!

Lol, you clearly don't live here. With all due respect as your posts here are normally well-informed, you're off the mark with this one. Khan would not draw bigger UK numbers, no way. Not after Brook's fight with GG, that was the tipping point. And while Khan may well add more international numbers, Sky/Matchroom don't worry too much about US bolt-ons, due to the time zone issues which would mean these numbers would be of minimal impact to the overall deal. This would be a domestic-focused promotion and in that respect Khan needs to recognise how far his stock has fallen in the eyes of the UK market. Let's see how his fight with Vargas goes commercially if, indeed, he does choose to swerve Brook and fight in Bolton. He - and you - might be in for a big shock. He's not liked or admired.

Khan does bigger numbers regardless. Proof is in the pudding. Give Khan SkySports and he'll do far more numbers than Brook who just about sells out his arena in Sheffield. I do live here lol.

In that case, you have no excuse, lol. Khan vs Brook in US = Khan, A-side. Brook vs Khan in UK = Brook, A-side. The fight will take place in the UK. Khan's past numbers (which are for US based fights) bare little relevance to this...

THis fight would happen in the UK. In the UK Brook is the bigger draw and Khan is a bit of a joke, Brook is the champion and not many of us thought this fight would ever happen anyway and we all knew Khan would be the one backing away.

Its no surprise. Only Khan and his dad still think Amir Khan is the biggest sell in the UK and adored in America, they are expecting of things they are not even close to warrenting.

Now if Skype were the broadcasters for this fight I'd make Khan the double A-side as he's broadcast with them before. Although the live show did bad numbers, the reruns proved very popular...

Nope. Khan is still more popular in the UK. Just because he hasn't fought in UK for a while, if he came back he'd take bigger numbers especially on Eddie's platform. It's simple, Khan has shown he does bigger numbers. No debate.

Sorry dude, you're going all 2010 over this, time has ticked by since Amir was 'popular'. Khan isn't even popular in Bolton...
