I think because he's actually more suited to the HW division.. the improvement you saw.. you'll see linearly.. at heavyweight he'll be a different animal to cruiserweight..

Why not FIVE they have a track record and they could carry a rerun of Haye v Joshua /Fury after being on PPV. I think it will be ITV, though how Haye fights on ITV PPV I don't know. Bellew and Joshua Sky PPV, Fury BT PPV, I guess Wilder or Parker could be on ITV PPV. Honestly I fancy Haye against all those fighters TBH except Klitscho. I think he catches Fury as he won't be scared if his power. He know Wilder is technically shite, and is desperate to get AJ before too much experience. If he got rocked by Whyte he'll get KOed by Haye.

 

Agree Channel 5 is the only feasible channel that has recent experience of screening fights and has shown a will to do so. They would be my pick.

The Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation is now run by Marxists/Feminists and ideologically boxing is beneath them (they have passion only for Tennis, Rugby Union and Horse racing), they are also burnt over the Fraudley debacle. ITV is busy cherry picking BBC "Talent" and becoming just like the BBC- their decision to screen this farce of a Eubank Junior fight against a 9-1 bum on PPV, means boxing will be short lived there.

That means we are only left with Channel 5.

Schaeffer just signed Tony Yoka. I actually don't rate Yoka personally but given that K2, Top Rank and a host of promotional outfits tried to sign him this is a big coup. Are people still going to joke on Schaeffer and say he is nothing?

 

Channel 5 have an exclusive agreement with Cyclone (a bit like Sky/Matchroom) so it's highly unlikely to be them.

I hope it's ITV- even if the majority of fights are on ITV4 it's better than it being stuck behind a paywall.

I mean that doesn't have to mean anything.. I rated him #2 after Joyce.. decisions go for and against sometimes.. Joyce already beat him in Euro anyway..

The BBC is an extremely anti-British organisation. It is now Marxist internationalist- hence its support for the EU, the LGBTQ movement, the climate change scam and of large government/high taxes/high spending politics.

 

Rights fees for Saturday Fight Night level boxing aren't excessive (50k-200k), the issue for the BBC is the Match of the Day contract means that 2200hrs on a Saturday is locked out.

I suspect the BBC could come back into boxing if they really wanted to but the powers that be would have to change.
