Toney vs Griffin I: 115-113 Toney.Judges were swayed by the crowd a little bit and that Griffin was better than expected. The better quality shots came from Toney.

Toney vs Griffin II: I do not remember but I had a close win for Toney.

Out of the 7 rounds you scored for Toney, do you think any of those could have gone the way of Griffin.

Rounds 3,4,5,6,8,9,12 Toney. Maybe the 12th round could be scored even.

Rounds 1,2,7,10,11 Griffin: I think the 10th could be scored for Toney.

Best for best, I'd pick Toney. He'd land the harder blows to steal rounds all over. But sometimes best for best is a little unfair, by which I mean Toney was often bad and Calzaghe was always good. If they fought a real world trilogy over the space of 3.5 years, i reckon i might be up for putting a pound on Calzaghe to get 2/3.

    Seems fair to me.

I think it's entirely reasonable to score both for Toney but I don't think either are robberies. They were close fights.

I thought Tiberi had more success than Montell did.

Calzaghe by close decision, something like 115-113. He would stay busy. Toney would fight off the ropes but wouldn't land too many big counters. It would be similar to the Jirov fight except Joe wasn't as easy to hit as Jirov. Toney is just too often too selective with his shots.
