Mark my words. Any day now expect to hear an announcement from Lara's camp that he is moving to 160.
Take it from this old man....that fake Sheez's about to get real!

Rigondeaux fans said Lomo was ducking, because the 5'7 1/2 Lomachenko declined 124, featherweight with a rehydration clause, and also featherweight with no stipulations outside of proper financial compensation to face a 5'2 1/2 to 5'3 Cuban boxing master. The latter really wasn't on Lomo though, that was Arum refusing to even offer Rigs a proper amount of money for the fight. Arum was trying to do Rigs like he did Walters, with the low ball offer, so Rigs was like **** off. Arum also isn't trying to pay a guy he doesn't like top dollar to give another beating to one of his star fighters.

Why do you always play up a fighters resume and then diss anothers to suit your agenda.

Murray beat Martinez and Sturm, both of which ducked GGG, and was later robbed vs Abraham, and has only legitimately lost to GGG and GG(50% of fans believe GG deserved the WBC title)
Geale beat Sturm and Barker, both of whom ducked GGG.
Macklin gave Martinez one of his toughest fights and went down in 11.
    GGG destroyed him in 2.
When Pirog ducked GGG, due to injury(so we're led to believe), Proxa, who at the time was considered a bonafide top 5, took his @ss whooping and was ruined by GGG.
Stevens has beaten the p1ss outta every type fighter there is except A level types like NDam, GGG, and now Lemiuex. GGG waxed him.
Lemiuex beat NDam like a redheaded step child. Quillin dropped him 6X and STILL ALMOST LOST.
NDam proved with wins over Stevens and Blanco, he's not some shot fighter. And Lemiuex destroyed him.
GGG looked like a Mayweather/Kovalev clone in dominating Lemiuex.
Rubio has wins or fought even with some of boxings best fighters from this era. He's also a very big MW. Gave Jr his toughest fight. GGG mowed him the F down.
Ouma was p4p quality in his prime at 154. GGG, with a 101 fever before the fight, beat him down over 10 rds.
Ishiida is generally considered an iron chinned slick boxer who'd been robbed of several top wins, but always hung in the top 20, and was a titlist. His KO1 of prime, not fat or out of shape or shopworn Kirkland ranks among the decades biggest shockers. GGG walked him down and put him to sleep.

I would say both Ouma(even shopworn) and Rubio, are better wins at MW than Pascal at LHW.
Ishiida on par with Kovalev dominating win over Campillo.
Lemiuex win on par with Kovalevs Cleverly win.
GGG v Jacobs is on par with Kovalevs W12 over 49 y/o BHop.
    Monroe<Capo>/=Wade
Brook, love him or hate him, is the top WW. His dominant win over Porter trumps(hate the man, love the word) anything Thurman/Garcia/Spence has done. Brook will likely take the IBF LMW title within the next couple months.
Brook/Geale/Murray</=WardW12*(@LHW*) And yes, I KNOW, that KOvalev has a WIN over Ward, not a LOSS.
    Adama/Stevens<Mohamedi/Agnew

And then there's the coming up record.
Kovalev's BEST wins are BooneX2, Simakov(RIP) White, and Thompson.
Sadly, the only solid contender type, even on the regional level is Simakov, and we'll never know how good/bad he'd be today.
OTOH, Gennady GGG Golovkin, was fighting and beating EuroLevel contenders from his 8th fight. When GGG bombed out Khamitsky, he was right then and there a threat to Sturm.
So, Universum decided they'd feed the threat to Boudhla. But it backfired and GGG defeated the slick puncher in his 9th fight.
Then, GGG won several eliminators for the shot at Pirog or Sturm. Universum PURPOSEFULLY "forgot" to pay the sanctioning fees for the WBA(Dziarra) and the WBO (Carvahlo).

When GGG was mandatory to Sturm, they gave Zbik the fight instead, knowing Zbik didnt have a chin.

There are unlimited conversations to be had IRT the early ducking of GGG.

The WBA, without Universum's aid, finally saw to it that Sturm would be forced to fight GGG.
So, Mendoza reached out to Egas Klimas to see if GGG would want to fight for the interim title, and GGG fought on an almost unpromoted card vs Milton Nunez(only beaten by Tapia, who should have popped Trouts chery), and he won his WBA title there, by further exposing the chinny Nunez. (Who nearly decapitated Latimore Latimore a couple months later)

You can certainly claim GGG hasnt got the HOFer on his resume. Cuz Murray was 3X robbed of his World Titles. But change those results to the actual fights, and he's right on the cusp. And Brook....again, we don't know what his future holds. He's gotten retirement $$$ from stepping in with GGG. But....had the Khan fight happened, if he takes the IBF LMW title......he's certainly got the skills, and his resume will only get better if he fights on.

That said. Joe Smith Jr just showed KOvalev and Cloud how it's done with BHop.
The Ward robbery stands as an official result, so if you refuse to acknowledge Murray as the lineal, undisputed Champ at MW prior to his GGG fight, then you can only say that as soon as KOvalev fought a legit, prime fighter, he was exposed.

Either way. You either shiit on KOvalev, or acknowledge GGGs greatness. Can't have it both ways hater.

Miguel Cotto KTFO Daniel Geale easier and worse than Golovkin did. Daniel Geale is arguably one of GGGs best opponents. Canelo gave Cotto a beating.

    See how that works.

Don't get me wrong, I hope both Charlo's have great careers, they from my homestate, but are you comparing Williams power with Golovkin's? Williams was the smaller of the 2 and he was OUTBOXING Charlo. Only because Williams didn't respect Jermall's power and he made an amateurish mistake he got caught. Ggg in the ams always fought bigger men, Charlo will be nothing new. Charlo was impressive against a talented, unproven fighter like Williams, but because Williams couldn't hurt him and Williams was landing alot. I like Lara's chances better than either Charlo. I wouldn't be surprised if Ggg jabbed Charlo the same way he did to Lemieux and broke him down. Charlo has gaps in his defense just like Ggg. We need Charlo-Stevens, Lemieux, Monroe, etc first to see how Charlo can handle 160.

Good take except the Lara part LMAO.

That aside, I also like both the Charlo brothers, and I think Jermell would outbox and beat Lara.

As for Mallow v GGG, and (insert any haters name) comparing Mallow v Williams to Mallow v GGG......it was shown undeniably that Williams had a glass jaw and that no matter how well he was boxing v Mallow, he wouldnt last a rd vs GGG who'd have shattered his jaw in similar fashion as he did Wades.

Also.....Wade did not fight scared. He tried to impose his size on GGG and got murdered for it.

Brook got his eye socket broke in the first rd.
And I'd tip Brook to become undisputed LMWCotW right now.
He'd beat Lara in a romp, outbox and drop Mellow a couple times, KO Andrade(who Im very high on) and make Culcay his biitch.
Liam Williams......he's not proven anything to me except that he can crack china. Let's see him fight someone with a chin.
With Mallow out the picture at 154, I fully expect Brook to win the IBF title in a war with Harrison, and I expect his first defense to be against Williams but only after he chases Lara and Mellow for a bit. And possibly only after he's unified against Culcay, who'd much rather get his Awhooping in the UK by Brook and get paid, than in Germany by Boo.

BHOP is just a "Yeah, I took the fight" brag on a fighter's resume. Better than saying, "Uhhh, maybe we'll fight you in a year or two" alias, the duck.
Beating a 52 year old BHOP means nothing except that you didn't get beat by an over-the-hill old man.

Murray is a complete unknown in American boxing. As far as US boxing fans are concerned, he is/was a nobody.
When Kovalev was fighting the Agnews, no one took him serious. When Golovkin ducked BHOP and Kovalev took the fight, people started paying attention to Kovalev. When he beat Hopkins and Pascal, people knew he was a good fighter. When he fought Ward, people knew Kovalev was for real.

Rule of boxing #1: When an ATG calls your people to arrange a fight, you say Yes, when? You don't duck.
But Golovkin did. He ducked BHOP for no good reason.

No doubt about it. There is too much talent crowding the edge of that middle weight division. All it took was for one to leap in and it won't be long for the rest to follow. I really think that Hurd, Lubin, and Andrade is heading in that direction.

    Ducked BHOP now?

    OMFG......you're serious.

GGG was getting CRUCIFIED on this forum by the ilk of you and your kind on this forum when K2 was giving BHOP consideration during the stalled Yeller negotiations.

MOF....not only was that fight being mentioned as a distraction, Bernard went on record saying that Yeller should be the one fighting GGG, NOT HIM.

And as for Murray being an unknown......like it F/N matters.

Nobody knew Henry Cooper in the US when he nearly decapitated Ali.

And as for "no good reason" as to why K2 refused to continue in the multi-fight deal with GBP to get Canelo......

The IBF ordered the mandatory, and K2 was forced to begin negotiations with T Johnson.

And why should GGG have to beat Lemiuex and BHop to get to Yeller.

That was merely a ploy for GBP to escape paying GGG his 1 million bucks they paid him to ALLOW Cotto fight to happen.

Cooper shouldn't have been in the same ring with Ali. Had Ali took him seriously do you think Cooper would have lasted 4 rounds?
Ali got serious after his knock down and Cooper lost 1 gallon of blood before they took pity and stopped the man slaughter.
The only benefit of being a boxing nobody is that people will seriously underestimate you, for a short spell.
