There were three factors involved in this fight - 1. Wlads age and physical deterioration - 2. Furys mind games and style - 3. Wlad crazy actress wife and his new child being a distraction All played a part, and its nuanced in terms of cause with all contributing to some extent. We will find out against AJ how important point 1 was. AJ better hope it is 90% 1, because if not, he has problems
maybe, never really listened to facts on a forum. but certainly didnt want to READ your rubbish too, as rest of forum feel
Is this what I am reduced to? Replying to the dregs of the forum, an individual that can't even finish his sentences and whom one needs a cryptographer at hand to make sense of? Woe is me
Wlad is not the most mentally tough boxer we all can agree on that . Talented and obviously has courage but seems to at times not to be into a fight mentally . It's painful to watch when he is having a bad night ... you get the feeling the guy should have been a doctor rather than a boxer . When he is on his game though ... look out . He probably can make a decent showing if he fights again , it would be nice to redeem himself after his last sad performance when Fury beat him
Good post. I agree, he's not vicious enough, I don't get the feeling that he really enjoys hurting people that much, and I don't get the feeling that he loses his cool easily. Whereas his big brother I do get the idea that he likes to inflict pain, and he takes adversity very personally. Wlad approaches boxing as a puzzle to be solved and a system to be implemented.
What fight do you mean about Floyd? The first Maidana one? I feel like he was pretty consistent in his career actually. Roy's the classic example tho. I wonder if the could just sub in Vitali instead of Wlad, let him beat the **** out of Fury and hope no one notices the difference.
We're I noticed his legs were really stiff was the Shane fight. He used to be far more nimble. I also think that's the time he started campaigning that he won't back up and just come forward which he did.
Hes been putting in poor performances, save the Pulev fight, for years.... against opponents not exactly hard to hit. Put that on top of that he was actually in with a somewhat elusive target, and it showed.
Kaya was just born and his wife, supposed to be caring for his only child, his INFANT child is having mental breakdowns. Kindof tough to concentrate in camp when the nanny is calling your camp saying your wife is standing over Kayas crib with a pillow in one hand and a kitchen knife in the other.
When did Floyd show signs of slip. Even with a bad shoulder, Pacqioua is still Floyds best win by a country mile and Floyd looked better than ever. And do any of us believe that if Al chooses to rob Thurman as he did Porter, Peterson, Herrerra, Judah, etc, that Floyd won't be back for the easiest #50 in boxing history.
