More to add to the Jacobs avoiding VADA drug testing situation

I think he is dirty, but we don't have direct proof of it. Not being tested is a good indication, but it isn't the same thing as confirmation. Also you have to factor in what he could potentially test positive for which is a big deal.

 

Exactly any stuff found from his Cancer treatment could be ruled out if that is a reason not to test him,maybe this was one of the subjects that took so long to negotiate?

 

Exactly WBC is corrupt.
Let's recap: Vargas and Stiverne tested positive - no problem
Exempt Hopkins and Jacobs from VADA - no problem
Pov tests positive - cancel the fight and withdraw sanctioning.

 

At least Pov had agreed to testing and after the meldonium debacle WBC said he was gonna get tested a lot more for his next fight, he said no problem.
These tests aren't cheap, thousands of $$ and all have to be paid by your promoter.

Well many people think Povetkin's drug test fail was dubious and political, so if you don't get tested you can't get shafted. Not saying this is the reason but people can't on the one hand claim Povetikin was set up and on the other criticise a boxer for not enrolling with VADA. Can't have it both ways...

 

So if Sasha refused testing you really think wilder fights and the wbc let him fight

It became OBVIOUS when they FORCED Potvetkin into yet another eliminator, while simultaneously setting up another eliminator in the UK, between 2 fighters nowhere near deserving of a title shot.

BVern popped for amphetamines, and then they find traces, f/n traces of a drug they just found Bute not guilty of, and allowed Vern to run with his tail between his legs.

WBC is clearly out to shaft Potvetkin, and for whichever reason, they're trying to line up a list of nobodies for Wilder to fight.

 

BHOP has been relying on TRT since before the Jones fight.

Just b/c Pascal was the first to cry foul, and Pavlik the only one to come right out and expose him, doesnt change that.

IMO, a 52 y/o, should be allowed to bring his free tes levels to 2:1 or less, thus flying well under USADAs 4-1, NSACs 5-1 or NYSAC 6-1, or CSACs 6-1.

DC's governing body tested Peterson while he had the F/N implant FFS and he passed.

It wasnt until VADA tested him that he was caught prior to the rematch. And his levels were so far off thier charts, that Khan walked away from a 3 million payday.

 

Jacobs needs to put all his cards on the table as far as the drugs, medication, or whatever he's taking. If these drugs are illegal for boxing but are needed to sustain his life then he needs to look for another profession. By the same token, GGG's team needs to demand this information before the figh takes place and if they are not satisfied with it then they need to cancel the fight. They have that right. Personally I don't see Jacobs as a person who would take illegal drugs to get an unfair advantage but I could be wrong.

 

Yeah, I have to agree, the drug testing around the Pov vs BVem fight was highly suspicious. The thing is, in the shady world of boxing, if you have drug testing - which on the face of it should be welcomed - you also open up another avenue for corruption. His sample being flown from Europe to the US to be tested is pretty damning. Ok, don't let it be tested in Russia if the WBC didn't trust the voracity of their process but why not just ship it to an accredited lab in another European state? There's plenty to choose from.

Could you imagine if a governing body demanded Ward's sample was shipped to Russia to be tested prior to the Kovalev fight? It would have been called off...
