Why take any supplements then?

Perhaps boxing needs to ban everything but water and vitamins.
That is the ONLY way to even the playing field.

Aspirin should be banned, as well as NSAIDS, and Tylenol.

So what made it a substance worthy to be banned?

 

Basically a lot of people were using it, mainly Russians, and that was a flag in itself. The drug is fairly new so there isn't tons of information on the benefits when it was added to the list so it was more of a suspicion thing which is also why it is so controversial. The controversy comes from the timing of the banning and the fact that scientists have since then said that it doesn't appear to offer any benefits. But yeah, basically it was banned because a lot of people were using it which seemed suspicious which I think is a pretty bad reason to ban something since at that point there is no data to imply that it boosts performance.

He was test 3X leading up to the Brook fight, and of course, directly after, as was Kell Brook.

The WBC Clean Program, using VADA, does not give warning for randoms, they simply call the mgr, and the fighter has 72 hrs to produce a sample at a random lab which is then sent to VADAs base for testing and the extra sample kept for retesting if necessary.

As for the OP......

Just b/c Danny is not enrolled, doesnt mean he hasnt himself been tested.

NYSAC can call either camp and do the same thing since they are the state sanctioning this fight.

But....as we know, NYSAC testing protocols wouldnt catch Lance Armstrong or Jose F/N Canseco.
