Do you guys think he should move up now? WBO has ordered him to fight 2 mandatories in a row and Canelo payday may not come. Surely I don't see him taking on guys like Aleem or Khurtidze for little money.

Now after taking a year off he ballooned up to 200 pounds and hasn't looked good in his last fight.
Lots of good match ups for him at SMW in UK alone: DeGale, Callum Smith, Paul Smith, Murray, Eubank, Fielding.

He could win a belt in 2-3 fights easily.

He walks right through Aleem, Khurtsidze will be a handful, but Saunders is too skilled for him, it may prove to be a close affair like the N'Dam-Avtandil match, but very winnable for Billy Joe if he's focused. He can still make MW easily if he gets serious about it.

He has stripped the weight down. I hope he isn't gorging again.

BJS at his best (Lee fight) looks like a top notch boxer.

I think Groves jabs him into submission at 168.

If he could make it easily then yeah he should be gunning for GGG payday then move up and whoop Canelo at 164.5

Good boxer, but he hits like a girl at 160, at 168 he'll have trouble keeping aggressive fighters off him.

Not big enough, just likes to eat too much. I can see CEJ having some success at 168 but not him, even though I rate Billy higher.

No he should stay at MW for the rest of his career.

Perhaps BJS would be better suited at SMW not having to lose much weight to get down to 160.

If you look at his physique at 160 - he has a bit of timber if we're honest - I actually think if he was to change his division it should be down to LMW not up to SMW. If he dedicated to the sport and lived the life between fights he could make 154 easily. That said, his career is at 160 now; he has a title and some good pay days in the offing. But in terms of being professional, eating right, etc he's a 154 fighter in a 160 body. Booth took Andy Lee down to LMW for one fight, so it's not impossible he would try this with BJS should he lose his MW title some time in the next year or so and need to rebuild. That said, I'm not sure BJS will ever dedicate himself 100% to his sport. It's a pity...

He has refused to fight Golovkin for a long time now, Golovkin would knock him out, but it would be a huge money fight. However, the powers-that-be are trying to fix a win for Jacobs by having the fight in Jacobs' home town, with Jacobs judges, referee, ringside doctors, boxing commission, etc., just what they did to Help SOB win a fight he lost...................rumors are that Jacobs will not test for PEDS.................

I think BJS needs to stay at MW... he won't be effective at SMW.... he needs to make the deal with GGG for a MW unification fight... this way he can get his $5 mil... seems like Canelo doesn't want to fight him now... maybe in Sept

To be honest I think he's quite small for 160. If he got disciplined he could make 154 and be a better fighter than he is at 160.

BJS isnt a small 160lber by any means he's 5ft11 and come weigh in is skinny and gaunt and still barely makes weight!!!!

You guys need to invest in some eye wear

BJS just needs to fight (but not at 154, hell no that would be a terrible idea), he has terrific skill he just had a few bad breaks recently, 1 good win soon and 2016 will be forgotten.
