If you think for a second ggg would knockout Robinson your crazy at 40 years old his chin stood up to a beating delivered by fulmer if he can last that long and not get knocked out I don't think ggg can do it when Robinson was fighting in 1951-1952 mr.dago.wap is right robinson would school triple ggg
robinson wasn't a bloated middle that's a ridiculous comment Robinsons footwork would alone be another to outpoint ggg combine that with his hand speed and the way he threw his power shots were locking at a boxing lesson not a boxing match.
I do respect ggg very good in todays standards place him back in the 1940s and 1950s he wont have such a perfect record if he had to go to war against these warriors Zale, lamotta, graziano, cerdan, charley burley they would of given tough him a nights and most likely beaten him
once triple gggs career is over then we can judge him with the elite but to put him in their now when he hasn't had a real challenging fight is silly

All you guys with rose colored glasses are really nauseating, give me a ****ing break, Golovkin has twice the skill level of LaMotta and Basilio, GGG UD's Robinson soundly.

Every era has their own "best ever". Jim Thorpe was a Olympic grade track star, and as an American Football star could run with great speed, plus punt & dropkick with great range and accuracy. The NFL basically has no one like that playing today. Times change.

Golovkin would hit Lamotta and Lamotta would smile, take three more punches and keep coming.
Round 9 and Golovkin would be on the backfoot, gasping for air.
Round 10 Golovkin would be trying to close the show and uload everything he had on Lamott, but Lamotta took it all and smiling, gets off his stool for round 11.
Golovkin throws a jab, and Lamotta throws a left hook and Golovkin is down, eyes closed, mouth open and snoring like a baby.

I like GGG but This is absurd, GGG might not even beat a canelo or a Jacob.
SRR knocked out guys like Murray with one punch.

Ray couldn't KO Izzy Jannozzo in 10 the first time they fought in his prime, who'd previously been stopped by Solly Krieger, Coley Welch and Fritzie Zivic. I have a hard time believing that thrice stopped Elvin Ayala could go the distance with GGG.

Are you sure about that Murray comment?

    These UFC fans DKSAB.
They don't realize that SRR was a 15 round fighter who could probably do 20 rounds at 5x the pace of today's fighters.
In 1950, SRR fought 20 time in one year, even on Christmas, and he won all 20 of those fights. He won as many fights in one month as Golovkin won in 7 years.

I'm not a historian and I will not consult boxrec for that. I judge fighters by the height not the low, with the frequency of fights the old timers had at the time, it is possible to have an off night here and there.
I know it easier to give passes to ggg as we have never seen him lost yet. I'm yet to see somebody durable and skilful enough to touch GGG at the body, I believe when it happens opinion will change and you'll see a more mortal GGG.

Yeah you also left out the fact that his 20 opponents in 1950, had a combined total of 223 LOSSES I can't imagine the s*** you'd be giving GGG right now he went on a mass bum killing spree of that proportion to rack up a bunch of easy wins on his resume.
