The woman's boxing does absolutely nothing for myself, frank has changed his tune on the topic it seems.
It's not everyone's cup of tea (personally a fight is a fight regardless of gender), but there's clearly an appetite for professional women's boxing as shown by Katie Taylor with Matchroom and the growing number of women's match-ups placed on big US cards. Warren might not be big fan himself, but he's a businessman first and foremost and if it sells he'll promote it.
I hear what you are saying mate, just think personally that the public appetite for the woman's stuff will fade pretty quickly.
Great news for womens boxing! Good move for Warren and BT but how many fights are out there for the elite amature women coming into the pros?
BT signing but good move, she will fight in Leeds on same bill as Warrington, so there is a sell out already.
he has realized that there is a nice little market for womens boxing currently. katie taylor has been on the undercard for AJ world title fight and is on the undercard of GGG vs jacobs. MASSIVE nicola adams is a much bigger name in the uk so im sure we will see a co-headline for her in the not so distant future. he'll be rubbing those grubby hands together!
Lol what a hypocrite, he has full on slated the sport on IFL before. Clearly not his decision. Thought Frank was old school?
One of the reasons I can't take to it. I'm happy women are on the undercard now though, as it means I can go the bar and not miss anything I'm arsed about
