Honestly I think your taking this way out of proportion, I understand there is a slight biased and judging by your last sentence you're not very pro American....I get it I really do but lets take a couple items into account here. One, apparently Jacobs isn't obligated to do the testing so why add the extra responsibility to satisfy the needs of an obsessed few. Second, does this really change your fight forecast? If Jacobs was caught with an illegal substance would you connect that to a potential victory? Povetkins team should be ridiculed for their negligence and the verbal condemnation they've received is well deserved....that said why would I generalize an entire faction of Russian athletes as corrupt because of this incident and others? Discarding specifics to form and fit your personal thoughts and negative generalities towards American boxing isn't cool.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting this but if the testing is optional then Jacobs would be submitting samples to satisfy who's agenda and who's demands? I get the integrity portion and the somewhat noble gesture connected to it, other than that why the uproar for not doing it?

I feel you but in this day and age of sports you should at the minimum have some sort of testing for any world championship fight. You can't simply take people at face value anymore too many cheats out there.

Oh I agree, if the testing was mandatory then no doubt about it. I just find the level of discontent strange when posters create comments stating DJ will get trashed in the ring vs GGG and now that drug testing from a particular regulatory group is deemed optional all of a sudden Jacobs has flipped the tables and should be considered a live dog due to this new revelation.
