He took the punch just fine. Wasn't phased at all and he destroyed that guy.

The shell of Carl Williams not only cought Morrison plenty , but he floored him twice in one round and the Truth wasn't even a big hitter. Morrison also was dropped by Purrity , stopped in one round by Bennt and dropped by a jab thrown by Lewis. Not to mention a life and death struggle with Joe Hipp.

One flush right and from Wilder is more than capable of sending Morrison into dream land.

We must have a bunch of young people on here that aren't even aware that Morrison held his own in a much tougher Heavyweight era than we have today. Who is Joshua's best win? Martin or Breazealle? LOL.

 

Morrison accomplished more as a pro - easily... Wilder's success is the product of careful matchmaking and coming along at the right time. Again with the 'facts' line the FACT that you feel the overwhelming urge to refer to everything you say as 'fact' ad nauisum just goes to show insecure you are. I don't think you know what a 'fact' actually is. Yes it's a fact that Wilder won an Olympic bronze medal, yes he has a world title. But if you even bothered to glance beneath the surface and weren't so one-track minded then you'd understand that there's nothing impressive about Wilders Bronze medal win. I already outlined that Wilder never earned his shot at the world title, the eliminator was FARCICAL and any fan with integrity would question it. Since winning the belt he's faced some of the worst competition of any major belt holder in the sport, yet you sit and look the other way while questioning the opponents of other fighters. What a joke. Morrison had the guts to step in with good fighters even if he came up short, he wasn't coddled like Wilder. His triumph over Foreman far exceeds any individual win on Wilders resume.

Morrison has a far more extensive amateur background than Wilder.. He lost a split decision to Mercer in the qualifiers for the Olympics that Mercer went on to win gold in. Wilder was only selected to represent because the US amateur scene(especially for heavies) were utter **** at the time, then he faced **** poor competition in the Olympics before getting schooled by Russo. You're arguing semantics. The Bronze medal means **** all anyways, especially considering we're talking about how they match ups as pros. The only one looking silly here is you buddy.

That's a lot of words to deflect from the facts I am telling you. Was Morrison a hype job or not? If you can't admit he's a hype then you're just another troll. Every time he stepped up he got destroyed.

 

I'm not debating the fact that Morrison was a glass cannon with vulnerabilities of his own and was capable of beating upset by guys who weren't exactly world beaters. He still held is own and proved himself against far better fighters than Wilder. Blackclouds on the other hand think's that Morrison wouldn't have a chance in hell and that Wilder is some ultra-polished fighter without any major flaws. Which couldn't be further from the truth... The guy is very clearly mechanically flawed - drops his hands and leaves his his chin up in the air, awful balance and poor coordination, bad punching technique that has lead to repeated injuries and has in some cases lead to him losing his balance and falling to the canvas. He just hasn't been in anyone live enough to take full advantages of these glaring holes in his game.
