Maybe you should get a prescription yourself, since your eyes seem to fail you every time a white fighter from Eastern Europe sets foot in the ring.

I'm 79 years old and still possess perfect 20/20 vision baby. I can spot a female bird flying a quarter mile away.

I'd say Robinson on points but a GGG ko late in the fight isn't out of the question

SRR had ridiculous power in both hands lmao. He killed a man and knew he was going to do so. His stamina is 10 fold than what G possesses. He has better footwork. More athletic. If Willie Monroe could T off on GGG, wtf you think SRR would do to this guy. SRR by murder. GTFOH lmao

If SRR was in this era, he wouldn't have touched welterweight at any stage of his career. He would've been a Middleweight and the best Middleweight of all time.
However, going by the SRR that we know about at MW, I'd be inclined to give the edge to Golovkin.

I wouldn't say they where bloated back then more hungry and fought better fighters back then. Sugar Ray Robinson by homicide in ten rounds Ray would have carried him then ko him Who fought better fighters Ray Or GGG ?

Nice post. He was the perfect fighter in every sense of the term. He could do literally anything he wanted to in that ring- outbox guys from a distance, slug it out with them in a phone booth style, knock them out with either hand. His technical brilliance offensively and defensively sometimes gets overlooked because of how brutal he could be at times in the ring. He was a mixture of a beautiful technical boxer and a pure savage. He's the prototypical boxer-puncher and a lot of the great fighters that came after him emulated his style. You look at Ali and Ray Leonard's style, they both were heavily influenced by the great Ray Robinson.

There's nothing nostalgic about talking about his greatness. His style was timeless and he would've been dominant in any era.

It is a shame that some of you pick GG over Robinson before GG has fought a top guy and even while he's still fighting. You just further discredit your pathetic selves with me even more lmao. GG beats Hop Hagler and Monzon too I guess lol...

Agreed! You can't beat the G.O.A.T if you yourself haven't beaten anyone of NOTE!!

At middleweight, I would not pick GGG to beat Hopkins, Hagler, monzon, both Sugars, Roy jones. There are probably more pre 1950s but I do not have enough knowledge of them.
Pick them fight 50-50 with Tito, Hearns, Duran, mccleland, Toney, pavlik, Martinez.
