    Mendoza gave him an extra couple months as WBA titlist.
    It was K2, acting on GGGs orders who were forced them to cave in terms of revenue.
    HBO, acting in their best interests(keeping GGG in the US), thought it best to come up with some extra money for Jacobs so Mendoza didnt send Blanco in there.

    Considering Jacobs had cancer, I'm sure he's taking one or several medications. That could be why he doesn't want to participate.

    I have read several reports that Jacobs refuses to take a drug test, if true, that is wrong...................

    Jacobs also insisted on the fight being in his home town with his judges, referee, boxing commission, ring side doctors, etc.....

    Only top 15 guys are forced to enrol.
    Jacobs was the WBA regular champ so was never ranked in the WBC.

    You'll notice that no IBF,WBA champs who aren't also WBC champs are enrolled in this particular program.

    That being said, if GGG and his team signed for this fight without making sure that Jacobs is also being tested then that's a massive over sight.

    A drug testing regime can be written into any fight contract, whether or not they are enrolled in this particular WBC program
