It means that skillful left hooker monsters like Povetkin would see those openings and KO Wilder! I see constantly Wilders cheek bones wild open there and believe me Povetkin sees it too! Wilder is too opened for left hook attacks and overhand rights. Where is his defence?
TBH maybe it's his size and dimensions making him look awkward but I've seen guys maybe 4-6 months in training look more proficient at the heavy bag. But I guess if it's worked for him in the ring so far who am I to criticise. I do feel he should be looking a lot more refined than that though.
I think he could just be training for power, but yeah when I hit the bag I always make sure I keep the defensively sound habits.
