Tarver is really getting up there. He performed with credit against Cunningham, but I think age will be his undoing here. Look for Washington to just sit on the outside and rack up the points like he did against Chambers. Tarver may have his moments... But he'll get outworked by the bigger and younger man. Washington UD.

Marcel Zeller passed away 3 months ago. Most of you should be familiar with him, as he was a pretty popular journeyman opponent in Europe. Notable losses to Tyson Fury, Erkan Teper, Edmund Gerber, Jonathon Banks, Steffen Kretschmann, Mark de Mori and others. Definitely a character with his Scottish Highlander gimmick, not one you'd likely forget. Anyways. Despite not achieving much in the sport his passing still saddens me as a hardcore boxing fan who's seen him fight many times. RIP.

If they chose Andriy Rudenko, Rudenko will end his run.

Gerald Washington is a strong option for Wilder's next opponent, he is 34 years old.

Gerald Washington (18-0-1, 12 KOs) and Andriy Rudenko (31-2, 19 KOs) are mentioned as the two main candidates to fight the world champion WBC heavyweight Deontay Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs), who will return the ring on February 25 at a gala in Birmingham, Alabama.

Camp Wilder began searching for a new opponent after he canceled his duel with Andrew Wawrzykiem. In the body, banned the Pole was detected stanozolol in a survey conducted in mid-January.

For Washington and Rudenko would be the first championship chances in his career. Wilder last boxed in July last year.
