Trinidad had been dropped and hurt NUMEROUS times by lesser punchers than Golovkin. He's also been out boxed plenty too. We're not talking about a boxer who was really that slick! Felix got hit often. Trinidad was VERY good... but he'd eat probably the hardest shots he's ever tasted fighting GGG and it wouldn't go well for him. He'd give Golovkin a heck of a fight no doubt... but it wouldn't be enough.
Tito could not box, Golovkin could, plus Tito fought most of his career at 147, he lost to Oscar, but Don King's judges saved him......................

Titos the proven better fighter.
No odlh doing his lomo running man style made him lose to tito g cant box hes a face leading no defense easy to hit slugger.he cant even punch a heavy bag correct
Very interesting fight. Obviously Tito was a better fighter at WW and JMW compared to 160 lbs. It's hard to say how this one would go although I would have to favor Gennady in this match. As long as he doesn't let Tito bombard him with those left hooks, he should be able to win this hypothetical matchup.
I don't think Trinidad does nearly as well in theoretical head to head fights against many great Middleweights as some seem to think. I favor Golovkin here.
^^^^^ Lol! Look at this dip**** coming at me all crooked out of nowhere even back then! Lol And DON’T use the words “What” or “Did”!! I came up with those. Come up with your own stuff. And GGG whoops Tito even better than he did Canelo. That egg chin of Tito’s wouldn’t hold up.
We have to consider this seriously now. Tito has a good chin, was a marathon runner, fought better competition. More use to the big stage just like Canelo. He also had quicker handspeed. I got Tito. We don't know if G's power and body shots are going to show up or not. His Mexican style is very weak. How do you call pressuring with a probing jab pressure. Tito wins.
Not sure. Tito was a great fighter, but MW was not his division. What I'd really like to see is how GGG takes one of Tito's flush left hooks... or several.
