Khan Brook negotiations collapse

Didn't Khan get 5 million dollars for Canelo fight? He's guaranteed a few mil more than that with 50% of Brook fight. Eddie and sky would make this absolutely huge. There's major money in the big british PPV events these days. I think both guys could earn closer to 10 million in this fight at 50/50 split.

Khan talking his usual delusional crap. Probably thinks he got paid $100, 000, 000 for the Canelo fight.

 

Khan got $2mill to Canelo's $3.5 guaranteed, after upside he got $13mill

Brook got a reputed $3-$5mill vs GGG

Lets say Brook vs Khan split $20mill

@ 70-30 they both get career high pay days $14mill to Khan and $6mill to Kell, that sounds fair to me

That's a baws deal. The issue with Khan is that he thinks he is the British Mayweather, with absolutely nothing to back that up. He's a upper-mid level can for hire with delusions of grandeur via getting his face smashed in on numerous occasions.

 

Even Eddie admits Khan is the A side which says a lot.

You would have to be pretty bloody new to the sport or on Brooks nuts to think otherwise.

70-30 is far more reasonable than 50-50, Brook doesn't deserve close to 50-50 and if Khan ever offers 60-40 which down the line he might and Brook rejects then we know undisputably who the coward ducker is.

Khan brings the numbers, Brook is not on the same level not even close

 

I wont deny that Khan even in the UK is slightly more popular and in the USA he is definitely more well known, however I think the vast majority of people on both sides of the ponds will think he loses to Kell. I have yet to meet a neutral fan whon thinks Khan wins this.

 

ps i also think that Brook should accept a 60/40 deal but think 55/45 to Khan is the fairest deal

 

Who cares who people think will win, that has nothing to do with drawing power and Khan has a lot of haters so that is probably a reason many think he will lose. To be honest Khan is a polarising figure in boxing you would go a long way to find someone truly neutral to Khan.

Floyd was also polarising and had more haters then fans and he is one of the biggest draws of all time.

With Brook he simply has no personality, and loves fighting bums (and taking it up the bum). He can barely draw flies to **** without big name opponent. Khan will draw numbers no matter who he fights.

I assume Box Nation saw a huge uptake in subscribers when Khan fought Canelo. I mean who in the UK wouldn't pay to watch Khan fight lol

Not true GGG is far from a household name in the UK yet the Brook GGG fight sold very well so to think this fight is being purely sold on Khans name is just wrong.

Your neutral point is also wrong, you dont have to look any further than me for a neutral on Khan, a lot of people dont "hate" Khan the think he is cuckoo land but defo dont hate him. I personally have said on here many times that I think Mayweather ducked, Khan cos at that time Khan was all wrong for him and could have very possibly outpointed Floyd. Your clearly a hater of Brook however going by your last quote. There is no way that Khan deserves more than double of Brooks purse when he is the lower ranked fighter, not the the titleholder and not thought as the better fighter between the two.

OK they don't fight .. Khan can still fight 3-4 others and get a couple of million per fight , earn say 10 million with endorsments over the next 5 years

Brook has to fight Spence , probably lose , or go up a weight and just be a contender looking for a shot getting **** money along the way

They do fight , Brook probably KO'S kHAN , HE GETS ELEVATED AND DEMANDS PPV IN THE STATES to fight Spence , making that a big money fight , so wto big money fights for Brook

Khan has no where to go really after Brook ko's him so its natural Khan wants and will get the bigger purse .

Brook beating Khan in no way gives him any sort of power to demand a PPV in the states. The US networks decide on that.

The argument isn't about Khan wanting the bigger purse. If he feels that way that's fine the problem is his not worth over double what Brook is for the fight.
