I think it's safe to say he doesn't lol. Margarito has lost a step too but the pace he fought against Paez and Alvarez would probably be too much for old Shane.
He gets wobbled to frequently now.. last thing to go is the power, and I think Shane can still be capable of a KO, now that I think about it. I'd love to see it though.
He was extremely bitter. If he was some random person trying to bull**** everyone he sure had a long running and convincing game going on. From what I gathered Cintron ditched him, and Cintron didn't remotely pay back the kindness he was shown by this guy. As for the best cheaters never getting caught... Well, we have a plethora of documented cases where trainers/fighters attempt to wrap their fighters hands in ways that are technically prohibited. We have very, very few cases of glove/wrap tampering coming to light after the fact. Restro/Collins was discovered in the ring moments after the fight ended, and that's certainly the most famous glove tampering incident of all time. So it's all either somehow the most iron clad secret scandal ever in boxing, or the case is simply that not many fighters can get through all the hoops required to get illegal wraps into the ring. I recall Marco Antonio Barrera, Mikkel Kessler, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito being caught before fights with "suspicious" wraps just in the past several years. How many fans hold any of them as accountable as Margarito, who is viewed as someone who attempted literal attempted murder?
No excuses just FACTS!!!!!!! Question >>> Have you ever been so scared of someone you soiled your underwear??? Floyd has !!!!!!!!!!!! ANTONIO THE TIJUANA TORNADO MARGARITO !!!!!!!!!!
Well yeah, but that's no different than Golovkin being accused by Rosado, after the fact, of the same thing. If the commission signed off on it and it's brought up weeks or months later, not much to that then. Those accusations are all based on the physical wrapping process, not an actual substance on a separate "gauze" padding as is the case with Margarito, so Margarito's case is entirely different.
There's a large difference between being forced to change your wraps before a fight and being accused after the fact. Everyone I mentioned with the exception of I believe Pacquiao had to do after commission inspection. Which means that they technically all also had illegal wraps. Pacquiao got to go into the ring with the wraps that were protested against and his opponent coincidentally sustained an extremely rare ending facial injury. I'm curious why Margarito's wraps are considered "more" illegal than others, among other questions. Will the hysteria over Margarito's case die down in another say, 15 years, like with the Trinidad wrapping incident against Hopkins? That was huge news at the time.
That's how you rationalized what happened just like Pacs fans did. But the reality is Floyd beats Shane's ass and Shane almost killed Margarito.
Floyd cheated with an illegal IV. Mosley cheated with EPO and steroids. Margarito has never cheated. How do I know this? Well Margarito was never prosecuted. You can't handle it. Margarito is a true fighter.
Pac almost blinded him, Shane almost killed him and Cotto finished him. He was a ****en bum. P Willy beat him with plaster too.
Get it right Bozo....... The reality is.... A juiced to the gills Mosely beat a sick weight drained demoralized Margarito Floyd beat a CLEAN Mosely proven by the way Mosely gassed in 3 rounds Floyd still couldn't really " beat Steroid Shane's ass" This could be all put right if Mosely makes that fight against Margarito. I know Tony would love a chance for revenge against Mosely's Ped's soaked ass. Let VADA do the testing .Have honest officials. And despite his suspect eye Tony would COTTO Mosely have him on his knees begging for mercy Id be ringside for that
This was Shane's only other big win since his first ODLH fight. And people wanted to act like he was P4P top 5 over beating Margarito.
Pac & Paul Williams in a close decision were the ONLY two fighters to LEGITIMATELY beat Antonio Margarito since I first met him in 1999. Both paid a price too neither wanted a rematch. Pac collapsed after the fight & spent days in bed nursing his battered ribs
