At least he hasn't been almost killed in the ring like Amir Khan. Khan is a ****en bum too along with Margarito. I'm glad Prescott Canelo and Garcia did what they did. Khan doesn't remember those fights. Neither does Troyanovsky remember his last fight after getting his dick knocked in.
Broner also went life and death with a washed up Malignaggi to a razor thin SD. Khan dominated and stopped a much fresher version. Not a con man fan in the slightest. But he clearly is better and more accomplished operator.
Khan won't fight Brook because he's a spineless jellyfish. God saw to it that this fraud would lose to every elite fighter that he's faced. Even when he beat Maidana he looked like a monster after that fight. He never rematched Prescott and that's why God took him down that path.
I dunno' about all this wall-of-text. Broner is good, I mean pretty fkn good; fast, strong, has nuts. Just not great. Maidana can not be taken lightly. Is Maidana great? His performance against Floyd indicates he is closer to that descriptor than Broner. That was an entertaining fight. My analysis is that you would like to belittle Broner for his youthful narcissism and equally for his point of origin.
He's overrated in terms of his skills. People tried to hype him as the second coming of Floyd when he was always limited. Realistically, he's more of a puncher who does best against come forward fighters, but his power is less effective against the bigger guys. And this claim that he's undersized at welterweight is largely an excuse-- he's a big 140lber and lost his belt on the scales in his last fight-- and up until recently, many of the top rated 147lbers were guys moving up themselves. Overall, I'd say he's a b-level fighter, which isn't bad, just not on the elite level.
Also, the fact that he said that he didn't want to give Mayweather his first loss when asked if he'd fight him says a lot about his ego...
I still think Broner beats Khan. If he's on his absolute "a" game. Broner is just such a tool but a talented tool. He needs space he doesn't think fast when uncomfortable. I wanna say he overthinks. Maidana smothered, Porter smothered.
I don't like Broner, I really don't like him but I watched the Broner Vs Maidana fight a few weeks ago and to be honest and fair Broner toughed that out, he was dropped heavily in the second round and dropped again later in the fight but had a few moments himself and took a lot of heavy shots but somehow saw it out, so there is something there but it is all down to his attitude towards boxing now.
He has some decent whiskers to be honest, his power isn't really there at 147. He should fight st 140 and duck Crawford like he's been doing. And stay away from Pistol
