Disagree I think Brook took more damage and way more shots in the fight against ggg than khan took against canelo. That's a testament and compliment to Brooks chin however as I think khan would have been KO'd in the first round. With khan against canelo he didn't take anywhere near as many hard shots as kell took. And we know what happened to khan once he did get caught with a big shot...sadly khan doesn't have the chin to take a beating.

No way khan accepts 30% which I think most think will be the outcome..I think most agree that khan gives a good account of himself for the first 4/5 rounds then Brook takes over and more than likely stops him

No you are claiming Khan will be an easy win for Brook, you will look foolish when Khan schools him.

You probably don't want to look foolish so you want Brook to win.

This is very simple logic, and you are not neutral so don't claim you are.

It wasn't a sustained betting. His eye socket got fractured in round 1. It is wasn't like he was taking plenty of clean shots for 3 more rounds. He was very competitive in those rounds rolled with many punches.

Did Brook's face when the fight ended look like a guy who got beaten from pillar to post? Nothing like the sort.

Sorry for being petty but Brook himself said the eye waw damaged around round 3 or 4 I think..and kell did take some.heavy shots in that fight even if it was as a result of a damaged eye..however he showed a great chin and heart in taking those shots from ggg not many would have been able to take them to be fair and he surprised me with how tough he is

Amir Khan is an embarrassment to British boxing now.

I hope he is remembered for this duck and I believe he will be.

    If wicky is remembered for
1 giving Floyd hell early on
    2 getting ktfo off PAC
    3 ducking witter
    In that order

    Khan don't have 1+2
No multi weight titles just a strap holder in a weakish 140 division
    So yeah
    It will be something like
You remember that young lad who snatched silver at the Olympics and then claimed to have beat every one up in sparring and ducked that 147 champion for buckets loads of cash

I think he means that 30% of a very high figure is a good deal for Kell.

I'm starting to think that Kell should just take the fight, I know he's worth more than 30% but he is going to make good money and the fight will do wonders for his profile. I think there's more to take from this fight than just a monetary figure.

Difficult one really. I believe 60/40 would be fair but there you go.

But the guarantee they want to offer kell would be the same as 70/30. You hear Eddie about to say that when he says the projected numbers before he gets interupted.

Also who is the 3rd party Asif is going about who would get a % of the split. Al Haymon?

Or is it his wife lol Asif kept going on about other people need to be paid. Who are these people?

I think what he's trying to say is for amir to take this fight he wants a huge guarantee, which with a PPV model i'd assume is difficult since it's determined on how many buys it does.. I think from this interview he's basically admitting they dont want the fight unless its a crazy deal in amirs favour. He also speaks about already having plans for november, this tells you they aren't looking to take any risks right now if they already have plans in place. The only way that changes is if they receive a crazy offer... this fight is not going to happen i don't feel. If it doesn't happen now & it can't happen later in the year brook will no longer be able to make 147.

I also don't understand when he's saying the can offer kell a guarantee now of more than he made v golovkin... how? Isn't it a sky ppv, the money is coming from sky? How can asif make kell an offer, it's the other way around?

    What is asif talking about?

Brook gets 25% fighting spence. Nope.

Khan has defended his title at 147lbs. Nope.

Firstly he says Brook should defend his title and not take the easy option but at the end then asks whether brook should take a smaller purse to fight spence or his biggest payday ever vs Khan?

    Contradiction!!!

They can work out roughly what the Ppv numbers would be. it wouldn't take a genius to guess the fight would do over 500k Ppv buys.

Considering the average man in the street wouldn't be able to name Witter even if they saw him robbing their house in broad daylight from about 3 feet away I think Hatton 'ducking' Witter would be considerably lower down the list.

Hatton is also remembered for the following before most people think of Witter.

    a) Beating Kosta Tszyu

    b) Being big box office and drawing large crowds both home and abroad

    c) Being genuinely 'the man' at 140

    d) ballooning up in weight in between fights

    e) going off the rails in retirement

I'd also say the Witter fight was never the biggest fight on the table for Hatton. He'd have pretty much sold it on his name alone but had to give Witter - who even if he beat would have been awkward and made him look bad - a bigger share than his other opponents. Junior was also never as famous, rated or as big a draw as Kell is.
