No doubt. The GGG fight already got US networks interested. The fact Brook performed just as well if not better than 160 lbs fighters vs GGG means his an attraction. Brook vs any 154lbs champion is a fight US TV would be interested in. Canelo fought Liam Smith on US ppv. A fight vs Brook is way more attractive than that!!!

If brook moves up it wouldnt take long for him to get world title shot. He would get ranked quickly and within a year would be fighting for a world title.

I don't think Garcia or Thurman at 147 want Brook. Too risky.

I think people need to get away from percentage split or just do a basic business course or something....

At the moment, there is nothing in the pot (apart from sponsorship deal values etc which they would know in advanced) so 70% or any % doesn't mean anything. Yes, Hearn can come up with projections of likely revenues but nobody knows what the fight will draw until after the event.

As Vali and Hobson made clear, they want a guaranteed amount in the contract irrespective if the fight was to bomb which It would appear Hearn is reluctant to agree to. Team Khan want that so they know that Haymons cut and the other fees are covered plus profit for Khan.

After the guarantees for both fighters (which will be higher for Khan probably) is when the % split comes into effect if I'mright. So Vali wants Kell to be guaranteed the amount he got in his biggest payday for GGG plus 30% of the revenues generated after the event...sounds fair to me. Khan is still the bigger name and Kell banks his best ever purse.

Mayweather had a similar deal on showtime - crap like the Berto and Guerrero fights probably lost showtime money but they more then made up for it with The Pacman fight

Just watched the asif valli interview.i have never heard a bigger pile of **** in my life.on top of that Eddie Hearn was an absolute disgrace.i like Eddie but he was tiptoeing around asif in the hope of keeping the fight alive.he should have stuck up for his fighter and said this is the best deal khan will ever see again.in pure boxing terms he is no longer relevant and u should be honoured that brook is offering you 50/50.you are a complete fraud who is whoring himself out for beatings but no,he listened to asifs bull**** and agreed with him even though he didn't.he might as well have just dropped to his knees and sucked asif off.sayin that if Eddie had dropped to his knees he would have been sucking his chin

    60/40 in Khan's favour. Simple.

I still think even at that Brook is getting a **** deal but if it gets offered he will take that. Khan won't go any lower unless he flat out does not want the fight.

I believe Hearn wants to take the deal on offer but Kell and his dad aren't feeling it. Khan holds the aces not Brook. Kell can fight Spence in an uphil struggle in the US for much lower money or fight Khan for mega money..less money then Khan but still big money.

Seems pretty unfair to me though, and while Khan may be the bigger name Brook is the favourite. I think 50/50 is fair, but as Khan is being annoying about it,surely the winner takes more option is better, if all legal and practical!

When did Khan hold a world title? I'll tell you, nearly 6 years ago.

Khan is seriously delusional, so delusional it isn't funny any more, he isn't a huge name or a superstar and people are bored of seeing him dropped or even stopped.

It wasn't that long ago he was being hunted and walked down by Chris Algieri, yes he won but when Algieri is walking you down then you have a problem and we all know what happened after Algieri when he got greedy and fought Canelo for a few quid and then got hit.

Nobody disputes Khans resume is not better than Brooks but Khan is almost irrelevant now in the U.K. If you take away the Brook fight, who cares what he does outside fighting Brook?

Khan has been dropped, stopped and KTFO, his punch resistance is still seriously suspect and he hasn't beaten a top level fighter anywhere near their best since Maidana (possibly Alexander and that's very debatable).

Since Maidana, lost to Peterson, lost to Garcia, who was Molina? Diaz was way past his best, a lightweight and still took Khan off his feet, Collazo was fighting Hatton a decade before Khan fought him, Algieri was wrecked by Pacquiao and overrated in my opinion and Canelo ruined Khan.

If that is "A-Side" and worth 70% in a big main event PPV fight then British boxing is a mess.

    This is all true
The more you think about it the more it becomes clear khan is completely irrelevant
He ain't a top ten ww he ain't a recent title holder
I mean what does he bring no real UK fans he ain't this bright star in america
He always bangs on about this dubia money lol so how many times he fought there lol
    No real TV network
He as lost full control of his faculties physically and mentally
I mean you hear the drivelling lies coming g from his mouth on TV looking at his wife to speak for him
That was not the sign of an honest or confident manchild

Something tells me Haseeb Ahmed of ringcast is a massive Khan fan, that article was so biased it was funny. I don't think the Khan Brook fight will ever happen now, it's a bit like Froch Calzaghe where two great british boxers seem desined to meet for a mega domestic tear up, but for whatever reason the fight never comes to fruition.
