Eubank Jr will rip uppercuts into him till he is no more. GGGs weakness = Eubanks best attribute. Triple G isn't invincible. There's a genuine reason he acts like Lara doesn't exist. Golokvin could've been in serious trouble had Brook been a big natural middle weight.
3G. What i was disagreeing with was the idea that those punches you called would take the other guy out. I think 3G can take the best of canelo's, but not sure the other way.
True that but to be honest we don't know wither either fighter can take a punch( from a big puncher) better yet say a 3 punch combination
Speaking strictly at 160 I think Andrade if he gets more active stands a good chance, right now due to styles I think Canelo beats him in Sept should that fight come off as scheduled too much speed and defense plan on making a decent bet on that fight.
GGG is all wrong for Canelo. Golokvin runs through him. Canelo hasn't the feet to stick n move because that what he would need to do. He isn't strong enough or powerful enough to keep Golokvin off him. He'll have no time to patiently pick his spots. This is why Eubank who has high activity for all 3mins per round would have far more success. People don't realize how bad Canelo's opposition is. Its as bad as Wilders take away Lara. And that result was razor close.
Saunders promised to retire if he didn't stop CEJ within 4 rounds. I had the fight 7-5 and its very easy to make a case for 6-6. Junior was very green and under developed. The rematch would be a blow out. Chris only gets better and better by the fight. Billy seems to get worse.
eubank got better by beating headfoward chudinov and the welsh lad? and blackwell? eubank struglles with real boxing skills, but ill give you that he has good volume and decent power.
Matty Hatton career WW and a journeyman to boot 41 y/o Mosley, so fukkin shot, even Mundine bowled his ol @ss over. Kirkland, 213lbs when finally offered the fight, 2 yrs removed from his tenure with Anne Wolfe. Ppl forget that Kirkland was vying for that fight in 2013, when he was coming back from the Ishiida beatdown, and Yellow ducked him then like the plague. Old shot Angulo, a f/n journeyman plodder who couldnt even KO Kirkland after he'd had him hurt badly. Old shot LW Josesito Lopez. Another journeyman, and coming up from 135. Austin Trout. Also razor thin and questionable decision, and Trout was already given the ultimate gift vs GGG victim, Nilson Tapia. Kermit Cintron.....absolute garbage. Best W is a gift draw against Sergio, and he was scared to death, literally scared to death of Yellow. Gomez???? LMAO Contender castoff. Mora<Gomez who's best win was a gift over a severely drained Brinkley, and a giftwrapped 35 y/o shot Gatti who's best days were at 135. And yeah, Lara. Solid win, but judges scored him the fight based off punches landed to Laras kneecaps FFS, and on his hips, and phantom punches that missed by feet. Not even inches, F/N FEEEEEEEETTTTT
He developed a jab since the BJS loss and became a lot more loose and fluid. He was stiff as a plank back then. He skipped a few levels going into that fight. The event got to him as well.
its easy to be fluid against no defence plodders. saunders will always be smoother than eubank, always.
Good post.. Canelo's resume is really pretty shallow. Virgil Hunter said Angulo was only given 6 weeks notice for the fight. He had to lose 3 divisions of body weight. That was his whole camp - weight loss. Look at him at the weight -in.. One of the worst cases of drainage ive ever witnessed. And Canelo threw hail marys into him all night and couldn't even put him down. If Trinidad or Hearns were in there , Anglo would have been laid out on his back. And lets not forget about Amir Khan as a defence of his MW Crown. Yeah , Hagler fought Duran . but there is a massive difference between Duran and Amir Khan ffs.
Blackwell was turning out to be a very decent fighter. Another guy who got beter and better as he went on. He gave Saunders hell. He was a lot better by the time he fought Junior.
