Gene would use the ring against rock for first half of the fight, moving jabbing, with rocky moving forward constantly. Gene would be in well in front of the cards going in to the tenth then rock constant pressure would start to tell. Some time in the eleven rocky cracks through and tunney would be hurt. Dempsey was f*cked after 10 ,he had nothing left to hurt Tunney with, over 15 the Marine probably stops Jack ,and I am a huge Dempsey admirer.
Tunney has an excellent chance of, not only out pointing Rocky, but jabbing his tender skin enough to cause a tko due to cuts imo.
Tunney, moving and sliding and to his left, deftly outboxes Frazier for the decision win. Tunney is conditioned for the 15 round distance and Joe can never get a consistent offense going.
The thread concerns Marciano. My error. However this would be the manner in which Tunney or any great technical boxer would beat Frazier. Negate Fraziers only great offensive weapon. Classic boxing dictates stepping away from that punch favoring movement to ones left. This forces Joe to constantly reset. The bout would be a 10-5 decision win for Tunney.
