I doubt that Mayweather vs Mcgregor would happen, but could do more than when Floyd fought Manny?

 

I think so. They're both motormouths with hordes of clueless fans. By the time the fight time came round people would be pawning their grannies for tickets.

 

What do you guys think about the proposed 50 million split for a boxing match under the UFC banner? I think it's just hot air from White.

 

Put in on, nothing wrong with a freak show. Floyd will love that easy cash. More hookers in his stable, more super cars in his garage, all good.

 

I have to admit I haven't seen him before. As far as I know, he lost once because he tapped out. Was he ever hurt from a punch? Most MMA fighters are featherfisted, so I am not sure how we can rate his chin. They also hardly land clean punches in the ring.

Let's say, if Conor has a decent chin and nothing to lose, if he uses some kind of Maidana tactics and just goes forward, maybe even more reckless than Maidana because he lacks boxing knowledge, could he upset Mayweather just with a lucky punch or is it an absolute mismatch?

 

Conor has been hurt and badly before. He will get schooled by any above average boxer.

 

There's a video of him sparring Chris van Heerden. I really hope for Conor's sake that this is a red herring to boost Mayweather's confidence and lull him into taking the fight. Chris basically clowns him and Conor looks, frankly, way out of his depth. I know Floyd is as old as mud, but he will put a beating of the century on McGregor's ass if this is as good as it gets. Floyd won't even need his "lucky IV" for this one.

McGregor says Mayweather is the only thing he's focused on, and vice versa.

The fight would definitely happen, and I can't see McGregor returning to < 10m paydays after a 100m payday -- more than likely it will be his last fight.

It's simply not true. My friend edits Conor's website and he assures me that there are no plans to box anytime soon.

Sure a massive offer might change that but I can't see it happening given the attitude of team McGregor to what has been spoke of thus far.
