Well Toney is my boy breh and if he was the same size as Floyd he would work his ass. Skills and balls, Floyd got one not the other

I rate Toney as an all-time great.
I don't rate James as an all-time mw.
Johnson dropped him hard...he was hurt pretty good.
Now he struggled greatly with Tiberi...the cause was cramps.Which of course was Toneys poor preperation.
Now here is the tell he talked about the fight with merqui sosa as the toughest fight of his career.Jame's stated that sosa hurt him with every shot that hit him.
Triple Gs power would be the great equalizer and the style matchup looks bad here at first but with Toneys omission that Merqui hurt him with every punch the same thing happens here...Toney would be reluctant to fire in this match...he thinks sosa hurt with every punch.
Wait til he feels TripG power.

Nah. The Donald knows a good boxer when he sees them. Wishful thinking on your part.

You just need to succumb to the idea of GGG tacking on defense after defense and being known as the greatest middleweight ever. Just go with it. Accept it. Know it

No, it takes somebody delusional and borderline idiotic to think that he can stroll into a different profession and assume that he is going to airily dominate all. He deserved more punches to the face than those that Couture gave him.

To be fair Sosa was a beast. I can excuse even very good fighters for struggling with Merqui. But not those other three whatchamacallems.

Man sosa and Prince Charles Williams had a fight stopped and declared a draw because it was too brutal...i was using the Merqui reference mostly as a fighter who brought the pain much like TripG does

Yeah if I think about it makes me realize how feared Triple G is, nobody wants to fight him. Not since Liston have I seen this.
What challenges has Triple G backed out of? Not his fault everyone avoids him like the plague.
Toney moving up doesn't mean anything and we all know he was busted at least twice for anabolic steroids in the higher weights. If anything his lack of discipline ate his way out of the middleweight divisions.
I wouldn't say this is Triple G's first step up fight. And I wouldn't think someone like Tiberi would ever beat Triple G the way he handled Toney.
Yeah Triple G is 35 he had an extensive amateur career. Many of the Eastern Europeans do, that's just how it's done. He is likely past prime already hopefully his dedication allows him to be close to top form for another 3 years he is a treat to watch.

GGG ain't knocking out fat Toney. Not sure if GGG has a chin to withstand lights out. Toney could punch at MW. Landed some bombs on McCallum who also has a granite chin. Those punches would have stopped most MWs.
