Wlad will be going into this fight 41 years old, and inactive for ~1.5 years.

Wlad looked shot back when he was ****ing 39 against Jennings.

He looked so Goddamn bad against Jennings when he was 39 and actively fighting. He lost more rounds against Jennings than he had ever lost in the 10+ years prior to that. Look at how he blew away so many stellar fighters without losing more than a round or two. And then look at how much trouble Jennings gave him.

Jennings sucks.

I don't like AJ. I think he's an arrogant jackass and the product of careful matchmaking against bums with some wins they didn't deserve.

This is just more in the same vein.

A formerly good fighter to pad Joshua's resume even more.

Can't really even look at the Fury fight, AJ doesn't move or box anything like Fury, he's a lot easier to hit and doesn't have anywhere near the movement that Fury has.
Wlad will be a lot more confident in this fight, he's more than experienced enough to deal with AJ

Wlad never took a lot of wear and tear and is in better condition than other top ranked guys in their 20's.

Yes , Jennings does suck. So why was Wlad holding him constantly from round 1? You can't say its because he was shot since grabbing and leaning was always Wlads primary method of victory.

Id take 40 y/o Holy to dec Jennings easily. Id take 40 + Foreman to stop him within 4 rounds. Hell , id even take 38 year old James Toney to win as well.

Different styles and strengths age differently.

Ortiz is mostly a plodding slugger. His arms can move fast, but that's it.

That style ages well enough.

The graceful tactician dependent on good footwork and reflexes? Not so much.

And, finally, all those fighters are Black. Blacks can stay in the game for longer. Whites cannot.

The only way I see Wlad winning is if his recent loss to Fury motivates him to get on dat dere... juice.

 

I'm just not sure on this one. Within 5 rounds Joshua will have a chance to finish WALDO off but anything past that and he's in trouble.

 

Wlad is going to show the "he is shot" crowd just how dominant he still is, even at 41, when he catches Joshua with power like Joshua has never felt before
