Mikey has some serious power, timing, footwork, positioning, ring IQ. I don't think he has quite enough for Loma but Loma at 135 will be very small - it will be a chess match in a fight that favours Mikey on so many physical traits, but I'm going with Loma. Mikey could've beaten Loma if he was a very awkward aggressive counter puncher. The man to beat Loma could be Shakur when Loma is past prime.

Agreed 100%. Same applies for OP with Mikey beating Loma's a**. It'd be a GREAT fight, right now I might lean to Loma, but who knows!
Loma couldn't afford to get touched by a single R or L hook, based on......?? Has Lomachenko's chin suddenly become suspect? Mikey can hit, no doubt about that. Let's not, however, act as if he's Roberto Duran. Lomachenko has more than simply a hand speed advantage. He has better foot speed, foot movement, defensive/angles manipulation, and is a better pure boxer. While any thing is possible, Garcia would have one hell of a time landing a one-punch KO shot on a kid with that much movement, speed, and smarts. Unless, of course, you know something the rest of us don't. Nonetheless, I am not super high on the fight for many of the reasons you mentioned. Mikey is a BIG, talented lightweight and who will likely have a pronounced weight advantage on fight night. That said, Lomachenko would still be even money in my book.

Lomo fought as a LW in 2012, yes. And? He walks around at 140-145lbs. Mikey would enter the right at 150+ as another poster observed. Mikey is not that fast, man. Is he quick enough to deliver laser like shots? Absolutely. He is not, however, what I would classify as fast, and he is certainly not as fast as Lomachenko. Nor are his feet as fast, on oft neglected factor (see the Lomo-Russell fight, for instance) in considering potential match-ups. Nor is he as technically gifted, when you consider angles, movement etc. Nothing that you offered in any way disproves my original point-- the Ukrainian is faster (hand and foot), has better movement, is a better pure boxer, and is better defensively. I like both kids a lot and, unlike you, think it would be an excellent fight.
I like Garcia, very patient and well schooled. A fight with Bud will be excellent, but I hope he fight the other titlists first at 135.
Don't get all excited because Lomo will never fight Mikey. As I said before, they'll want Mikey to come down to 130 and if he does they'll hose the fight by short changing Mikey on the money. Unfortunately for fans, by fortunate for Lomo, the fight won't happen.
