However his penalty should be more severe than anyone else who committed similar crimes and drug test fails. He was, supposedly, the 'main man' after beating Klitschko and winning the belts. He was the one 'everyone' was expected to look up to. Yet he has disgraced boxing, and disgraced the belts he won. As such the length of his ban should reflect this, and he needs to of been made an example of and a deterrent for others.

He needs to have been given a 3 year ban minimum, starting from his June 2016 suspension. He needs to be drug tested monthly EVERY month of his suspension, and any 'adverse' findings, fails or refusals to be tested should result in an automatic life ban from boxing.

IF he was to prove clean the whole period, then he needs to fully pass medical and mental health tests to prove he is fit to be in the ring, what with his mental 'issues' and all.

ONLY after ALL of that should he appear before the board on his knees to beg for his license back, which he should only be granted in the knowledge that ANY further cases of wrongdoing or bringing the sport into disrepute result in his license being pulled again and him never being granted one in the future, by the BBBoC.

 

If you mean Fury would throw 10 punches a round and not engage then I agree but that isn't making someone look stupid. Winning because you land 5 punches and the other guy 3 in a round isn't anything to brag about.

I don't believe anyone should be banned for using PEDs. It's all a big waste of time.

It seems some of these people here who are calling for a lengthy ban on Tyson Fury clearly just want him out of the sport for other reasons, which he is anyway. I mean, he's not exactly an active fighter. People who want to stamp him out for an official further 2 or 3 years are perhaps consumed with hatred for the man.
Personally I don't like a lot of the things he has said either but that's no reason to want rid of him.
Tyson Fury would be a good additional to the heavyweight scene and I guess a lot of his haters fear he might beat some of their favourites too.

 

Joshua does not even get tested or if he actually does have an occasional sample drawn to keep appearances up it gets destroyed A.S.A.P! He is the u.k.'s Mayweather and will be made the face of boxing over there by hook or by crook.
