Why didn't you include this in your original message instead of quoting my same post again?

What are some of you on about, Garcia beat Salido handily, dropped him 4 times and won every round. If you're giving Salido credit for breaking Mikey's nose with a headbutt then I don't even know what to say. But Mikey kicked his ass in every round.

1st, 2nd or 20th wouldn't matter, MG has always been way too many levels above OS to ever have a very close fight.

    Mismatch at any point

Well the simple answer is Garcia wouldn't have fought him in his second pro fight. He was 30-0 when he fought him

Juan Manuel Marquez was 42-2-1 when he fought Salido and had just drawn with a prime Pacquiao in his previous fight.

Yuriorkis Gamboa 18-0-0 was he fought Salido.

And the Salido that Loma fought weighed 128¼ on the scales and he had an 11lb weight advantage on the night, whereas the Salido that Garcia, Marquez, and Gamboa fought had to drain himself down to 126 and they were all roughly the same weight as him in the ring.

    Gamboa 140 - Salido 140

    Salido 147 - Lomachenko 136

Loma was 1-0 as a pro when he fought Salido and he had never been past five rounds before

Marquez had been past 8 rounds something like 19 or 20 times when he fought Salido.

Gamboa had been past 8 rounds 4 times when he fought Salido.

And Garcia had been past 8 rounds 6 times.

Would Garcia have beaten Salido in his 2nd pro fight if Salido had 11lbs on him and didn't have to drain himself down to 126, stepping on the scales at 128¼lbs instead?

Do you think Garcia's punches would've had the same effect on Salido if Salido was 11lbs heavier than him?

And how much more effect would Loma's punches have on Salido if he outweighed Salido by 11lbs?

Again Garcia and Salido were roughly the same weight when they fought each other.

In Garcia's 14th fight he fought Walter Estrada. Estrada dropped him hard and Garcia only managed to scrape by by a single point on two of the judges cards.

''I think I've learned from the Estrada fight and from the previous fights to feel more mature,'' said Garcia whose record stands at 22-0 with 18 stoppages. ''I went into that fight with like 14 fights or something and Estrada, he was like 36-6 [ Editor's note: Estrada was 34-6] at the time. So it was a bit of an advantage on the experience level. This time, I think I've grown a little more and had a few more fights where I've learned from the fight and I'm a bit more mature and a little more experienced''

Estrada was stopped in 5 rounds by a 26-0 Kevin Mitchell in his fight prior to facing Garcia and is not on Salido's level.

I felt loma won by a round scoring without bias, the reason I was shocked was due to loma being the "name" and supposedly "future star" so I figured all clover rounds would go directly to loma.

    Boi was I wrong

Mikey handled him before the butt. Mikey was a skeleton before that fight too. Salido could never beat a guy like Mikey at any stage of Mikey's career. If Mikey was vulnerable it might've been maybe fighting a Salido in his 2nd pro fight. But I'd have to see it to believe it.

The whole last round didn't go well for him, that's why he took the easy way out.

You're really going to compare an 18 year old Mikey to a 26 year old who had two years of WSB behind him and 2 Olympic golds??
