And on the flip side if Brook gives Spence a beating then we will get "Spence was overrated and a little bit of a hype job that only beat Algieri and Bundu"

I rate both of them, not quite sure who to pick to be honest. The winner will get full credit from me. I am leaning a little towards Spence but it's not going to be easy - I'd have picked the pre-Golovkin version of Brook.

I'd actually pick either against anyone else in the division, Pac is old, Thurman and Garcia are pretty good admittedly but I'd still pick Brook/Spence.

I don't think anybody is saying that. Brook can still make 147, with difficulty, but he can still make it and be functional..surely.

This would be a big win for Spence and I'm pulling for Spence here.

    What even was the offer?
Other fighters don't get credit for making offers? Why should Brook be a special case?

This guy will get credit when he gets in the ring and only then!

Watch them claim they are still negotiating and ask for purse bid extensions!

Fancy brook if its in the uk. Tough fight because spence is very good...whips them shots in if he gets the chance. But reckon brooks footwork offsets him. Spence footwork slow and not great...hes also a bit stiff. A mover that can hit will beat him. Just not sure if brooks got the power to keep him off for 12.

Cant see it happening. Both sides not that kean on it atm. Its pretty much the right fight at just the wrong time. Brook struggling at 147 and spence just maybe another fight or two away from being ready to go to the uk to dethrone a champion. In an ideal world. Khan v brook. Spence fights another decent challenger. Then the winner of khan v brook against spence obviously if he comes through.

Brook needs to take it easy. If this is the case he's making all other boxers look like school girls. This man is truly a warrior if so.

He is older than spence though and has been a pro making 147 for over 10 years. That takes its toll on your body. Cotto is not a 154lb fighter his frame and heightare small but because of age he probably cant get lower anymore.
It makes sense for them to make a deal now, you never know haymon has been known to bid crazy, while it would give kell a big payday eddie will want all the advantages to kell, his offer will obviously be to fight in the uk. If al wins the purse bid brook will get a good payday but everything else will be against him

I favor Brook in this match. He's the more refined, experienced boxer. Not sure Spence is ready but props to him if he takes it.

    I Agree .

Spence will not go to the UK to fight Brook. Theres no chance of that happening.

Lets be real. Brook will receive too much favoritism with the ref/judges. It wont be a fair fight.

Spence will have 5 opponents instead of 1.

Good for Brook. Everyone thought he was trying to duck and dodge Spence and he comes out guns blazing. This is an excellent fight on paper but I am afraid it will be a stinker in the ring - Brook looked waaay too comfortable and fit at 160, losing muscle is never easy. I can't think of a single example of a fighter going up two weight classes and then successfully coming back down, especially after putting on muscle mass. I see Spence as a clear cut favorite if the fight actually takes place.

Or just say that Spence is on PED's. Must be nice to sit and talk sh!t about fighters. They set it up in such a way that a fighter is damned if he does and damned if he don't. Never giving one ounce of credit to some decent fighters.

Damn how stupid do some posters on this forum look with their theory that the GGG fight was a Spence duck.

Truly those people should be ashamed of themselves bashing a warrior like Brook.
