More to add to the Jacobs avoiding VADA drug testing situation

Similar to Pac/Bradley II, looks like (Pac : Jacobs :: Bradley : Golovkin).

At the same time, if everything you say is true this sounds like something Golovkins' team should have gotten ironed out in the fight conracts. Otherwise, it's like pulling a Pascal on Hopkins at their rematch press conference.

 

I agree with you but what can we do? For all we know, not being tested was part of the agreement with Jacobs. He knew he can't win fair. Ward wanted home field, home ref and home judges advantage. Jacobs wants no Vada. You have to make concessions when your opponents have no heart.

This. If Jacobs broke the contract by not signing up for VADA, that's him not holding up his end of the contract. And for the record, VADA is not a policing force. They are an agency that follows guidelines for accreditation set up by WADA. They are not an "arm" of WADA.

You're right excuses lined up and all, concur. However to be fair, if Jacobs is ducking VADA then he CLEARLY is hiding something. All the dopers duck VADA because they have HIGHER standards than what WADA requires for accreditation. With USADA/WADA, you can have a 4:1 or was it 6:1 T:E ratio. That means you can roid up to that limit before they will even raise an eyebrow. With VADA, however they cut thru the BS and get right to the CiR test. And that test is really hard to cheat, as it doesn't test for ratios, but synthetic compounds in your system.

 

Agree with this, Jacobs is the first real threat GGG has faced so the GGG fan boys are getting their excuses ready just in case Jacobs scores the upset.

I have a similar opinion as the OP but unfortunately we all know the sanctioning bodies bend rules to suit their needs. The fight is listed with the WBC title on the line as well so I don't see how Suliaman can justify Jacobs being able to compete in a WBC sanctioned contest without the required testing!? GGG is going to knock Jacobs out either way but the issue of fair testing needs to be addressed.

You may be correct in that all dopers duck VADA because they have a more stringent testing regime, but that doesn't necessarily mean that every one that doesn't take the VADA testing is using PED's. To my understanding it is a real inconvenience to do testing. Not so much the testing itself, but the intrusion on a persons life. You need to let VADA know where you are at all times. If you can't account for time you are considered noncompliant. At least that's what I heard.
