Santa Cruz just had a bad night in the first fight.

He didn't exactly set the world on fire againts Quigg and he looked tired and ragged on Saturday.

Santa Cruz will win the rematch comfortably, then he will need Quigg again.

Too Small for Featherweight and can not make Super-Bantam safely anymore. I also think him and Shane have peaked. Shane is not a world class trainer and when he loses to Cruz for the second time I am sure he will begin to look elsewhere.

I doubt he'll ever need quigg again. Why would he fight quigg? Quiggs big moment in his hometown and he did **** all. Frampton (who has beat cruz) should fight either cruz or selby next. Quigg should keep fighting binmen for plastic world titles

Both Cruz and Selby are too tall and to long for frampton.

I don't really think he's too small, Naz Hamed was pretty much same dimensions and others. I just think he was trying to knock Cruz out and head hunting too much with frustrasion and no other plans. He said before the fight that he wanted to beat Cruz more convincincly this time, he was trying too hard to run through Cruz and knock him out, was never gonna happen.

Quigg is nobodies mug and he dealt with him reasonably comfortably, lets not forget he beat Cruz the first time round and looked pretty good in that fight. Both the gameplan and Carl were off (and Cruz fought well) in the rematch, Cruz aint exactly a poor fighter either. I fancy Carl to win the 3rd fight

Quigg pretty much gave the fight away. He did jack for most of the first 6 rounds, and when he decided to actually try, he was giving Frampton plenty of trouble, and had him badly shaken at the end of the 11th. This myth that Frampton boxed Quiggs ears off for 12 rounds, is exactly that, A Myth.

Frampton beat Leo's corpse in the first fight.

The real Leo turned up for the second fight.

He was one of the most celebrated fighters in the world last year and now people seem to write him off.

There really is a FOTY curse it seems

He didn't look bad in the Quigg fight or the Santa Cruz fight however neither of his opponent were at their best in those fights. I still credit Frampton for those wins he did exactly what he was supposed to do in those fights, I'm not suddenly gunna start shitting on him because he has a loss.
