And you still cant see it, and it's still your opinion that he didnt throw many right hands, and that he was a one handed fighter, with no pop. OK, Louis sure fooled alot of people at the time who made him the betting favorite and made him #1.
And you still dont see the 3 sec exchange where both were rocked, Louis more so in the last seconds of the 1st rd. Methinks you are being stubborn. Does your DVD have a slo-mo feature? Cos maybe the action was too fast, slow it down and see the right hand Louis threw connect with Marciano's face, it shows it clearly, and that right hand by Louis had some zing to it. If you cant see it you cant see it, you're entitled to your opinion, no problemo.

I see Marciano hurting Louis with a right hand at the end of the round .I don't see Marciano rocked by any punch in that round, and I don't see Louis throw what was his best punch, a right cross even once!
Making a fighter the betting favourite means what exactly?
    Jeffries v Johnson,Liston V Clay,Baer v Braddock,Louis v Schmeling1, Tyson v Douglas, Frampton v Santa Cruz 2 etc

He still had power and he was still a genuine threat to the title. A 50% reduced Joe Louis is still a great fighter. Have you watched the Brion rematch? You might be surprised at what he had left.

This means what exactly??? That Louis was fat and sloppy after he retired and got himself into wrestling, what does that have to do with Marciano - Louis?

mcvey, post: I see Marciano hurting Louis with a right hand at the end of the round .I don't see Marciano rocked by any punch in that round, and I don't see Louis throw what was his best punch, a right cross even once!
Like I said you are just being stubborn, if you still cant see that Louis combo. The reason you dont see Louis' best punch, is not as complicated as you seem to think. Marciano's style coupled with Louis' lack of relexes took away that punch, plus this you should know Marciano kept the fight in close quarters, making it pretty difficult to throw a "right cross". An effective right cross needs distance and Louis didnt have it.

Means that the people at that time felt Louis had a shot, IDK but people who bet on fights dont throw their money around willy-nilly
    Jeffries v Johnson,Liston V Clay,Baer v Braddock,Louis v Schmeling1, Tyson v Douglas, Frampton v Santa Cruz 2
This means that sometimes the gamblers get it wrong, thats all, no biggie. Just a thought in almost every case except for Santa Cruz and maybe the Clay fight there was more going on with the losing side that made their defeats possible. As in the case of Jeffries, Baer, Louis, Tyson. Still a good batting average for the gamblers, 4 out of 6.

If Louis had still been Louis ,Marciano would have been paying the price to get to close quarters.Let's leave it now, its becoming boring

Listen to the commentary at 9.13 Louis won this fight with his jab!

The commentary did say that and most of Joes distance wins could be attributed to his jab as Tommy Farr would agree. The commentary also says Louis looks very strong and fast, that he won rounds 5 through ten with "combination punching" and with my own two eyes I can see Louis landing many sharp right hand counters and several punching in combination. It's not vintage Joe Louis, of course, but this is still a great fighter. He looks as good as he was in the Walcott fights here and he's fighting a 24 year old, 40 fight, seasoned contender too.

Worst post ever. I guess you are trying to pass this off as comeback Louis and got called out on it.
