Unlikely, unless it came directly from his inner circle.

No, hell no. I can't believe you didn't know that. You thought that was Nelson Mandela too?

Lol Dude how do you know it's Dave?
It sounds so much like Lennox!

If you're right you'll have blown my mind.

    Btw, you bump Kweli?

Yeah man, pretty sure Lennox is in the liner notes.

And listen to his voice! Can't be Dave!

I stand corrected. From what I can find, that is Lewis but wiki doesn't list his name. I think my brother told me that was Chapelle way back. He listened to that album a lot more than I did. Looks like there was a UK release of that song, so that would explain it.

Yeah it would be too random for Dave to just impersonate Lewis. You almost made me rethink my entire adolcense.

Props for knowing what I was talking about though. Didn't expect anyone to recognize the reference.

Well, he gave deadpan impersonations of Rick James and Nelson Mandela on the album. It's not a stretch to think he did Lennox too (guess not).

When your are getting your head beat on daily, you have a tendency to look for something to relieve the pain of doing it for the rest of your professional career.

Coincidentally they were both on the same episode of Conan one night.
