    My favourite fight of the seventies is Frazier-Ali.

    My favourite fight of the eighties is Cardona-Avelar.

    My favourite fight of the nineties is Tyson-Douglas.

    80's: Chacon-Limon IV
    90's: Less sure. Maybe Carbajal-Gonzalez I(?)

    That was an insanely good fight. I was at a friend's house having a few beers and my bud who said he had never heard of Gonzalez figured it was going to be an easy fight for Carbajal. I myself didn't know much about Chiquita, but at least I read ring magazine and knew he was very highly ranked with a title. We were both mesmerized by what transpired.

    He could whack, but Carbajal seemd to want to lie on the ropes and take whatever, hoping to counter with huge power shots. Paid off for him, but Chiquita took advantage of his lead feet the next time out. For such a little guy, Carbajal had little movement.

    80s....Hagler vs Hearns (I don't care that it only lasted 3 rds)

    90s...Benn vs McLellan (brutal)

    70's - Ali - Frazier 1, the biggest fight of all time probably.

    80's - Pryor - Arguello 1, just unbelievable.. I grew up in this Era, so many amazing fights and fighters Tyson's run was must see tv so glad I lived it, live!!!

    90's - Holyfield vs Tyson was a big deal hence the title "finally" Much like the 80's just an unbelievable decade of fights and fighters.

    Holyfield - Tyson was more like the upset of the decade. The fight itself was not very good

    Did you mean Tyson - Douglas?? Clearly the biggest uspset of the decade and maybe in boxing history..

    I chose Holyfield - Tyson partly because of the magnitude of the event, It wasn't even the best Holyfield fight of the decade, he was in many much better more competitive fights during the decade.
