I thought about Brian London's pathetic non-effort against Ali and as a result I created this thread. Any other examples?

Bruce Seldon's name always comes for "top level" fights. Some say Ernie Terrell against Ali..but Terrell always maintain he was thumbed in the eye early, which effected his "effort" and he did go 15 rds with a vengeful Ali.

Charles Martin against Joshua was awful, i can't believe that Earnie Shavers, Ron Lyle, David Tua, Gerry Cooney, Jimmy Young, Gerry Quarry, Ike Ibeabuchi and Sam Langford didn't won a world title but Martin did.

A handful of Tyson opponents like Frank Bruno, Bruce Seldon, Clifford Ettiene, even Michael Spinks.

James bone hugging Smith against tyson. Was a hug fest, apart from the right hand that backed tyson up in the last min.

Bruno certainly tried to win in the first fight.

That was a real bore fest. Bonecrusher became bone clutcher that night, except for the final three minutes.

Spinks didn't get much chance to try anything. He was obliterated. The other guys didn't try at all. I heard that they gave Bruno the last rites in his dressing room before the fight. LOL!

Certainly was a crap fight especially with tyson involved. I expected a bloody good one as well after Smith had given holmes a tough time and battered Tim to the canvas. He could bang a bit but on the night he froze and self preservation kicked in.
