Look when you got AA greats like Floyd, RJJ & sweet pea admitting Ward didn't win i think its case closed.

 

Had Kov by 2 but there were alot of rounds that were hard to score, such a scrappy fight

 

How the **** do you people claim at best a draw for Ward when Kova scores a knockdown in the early rounds?

This is why you can't really trust random peoples scorecards cause they don't know how to score a god damn fight lol. 7 rounds to 5 for Ward aka 114-113 is the correct score. A draw is impossible unless Ward scored his own knockdown, an even round or a point deduction from Kova.

 

If you use Even Rounds it gets worse for Ward, since he only has two clear rounds at the most. Most of the rounds Ward officially won or his sympathizers award him were the ones where both men did little or Kovalev simply was not as dominating as he was in the first few rounds. Not really a close fight in the sense it could go either way.

Had Kovalev won, there would have been no controversy.

Did anyone outside of the three judges really give Round 10 to Ward is the question? Ward getting rocked by jab while winding up is the most embarrassing thing I've seen in a Prize fight at this level in some time.

Kova won one clear round after the 6th and that was round 10 when Ward was toying and tried throwing failed bolo punches. The only punches that won that round for Kova was a hard counter jab. 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 all were clear rounds for Ward. Those savage body shots did the trick for Ward giving him the 114-113 win. 8)

having watched this fight several times. I cannot see how anyone can be absolutely positively without doubt that one guy won. its so close I gave up . I will wait for the rematch.
