Amir Khan vs. Errol Spence Jr, who you got?

We all got the same guy and by the same way. Who you got?

 

If not for Khan's glass mug, he'd box Spence's ears off. Also, Khan hasn't looked sensational at 147 or demonstrated that rapid fire speed he is known for. He actually looked faster against Canelo than anyone at 147. Maybe motivation, Idk. Spence would catch him in the late rounds, but an upset by Khan would not surprise me. He's a hot and cold fighter.

 

Khan has shown that his chin will fail him whenever it's grazed. He will never do anything meaningful at welterweight.

the same people who say fighter A has not fought anyone so that's why he would lose to fighter b who has fought many names its a really silly thought

Spence would grind Khan down and stop him in 7.

 

Not sure he takes that long actually, Khan's punch resistance is gone and as soon as he gets caught badly the fight is basically over.

Seems to happen in round 4/5 IMHO, based on the Garcia and Canelo bouts.

 

I can't see Khan avoid the KO as long as he did against that Mexican dude.
Spence is all wrong for Khan.

 

I think Khans glass chin is overstated. He took some good shots off Maidana. His defence, particularly on the backfoot, however is woeful. He walks back in straight lines with his chin hanging out begging to be caught. Thats why any decent fighter will catch up with him eventually.

He took some good shots from Maidana while Alex Ariza was his strength and conditioning coach. Prior to this part of his career and since he sacked Ariza - because of his dubious reputation - Khan's punch resistance was always a big issue. Add on top of that, he's past his peak now, I question his commitment to boxing (as does Virgil Hunter), and is not a natural 147 fighter I would expect him to be French kissing an oxygen mask sometime before round 5....

 

The way I see it, his biggest problem isn't his chin- it is his stupidity. When he gets caught by a shot instead of defending himself he rushes right back into the fire and tries throwing a ton of punches that don't even have anything to them which often leads to him getting countered and paying for it. He responds very poorly to getting buzzed.

 

Maybe, but I think most of his knock outs have been to big punches due to total lack of defence. Im not saying hes got a good chin, just that its not the worse, or his main issue.
