    The past greats are the only reason why the belts mean anything though. The past greats made the belt. The belt didn't make the greats. The only reason why for example the world MW title means anything is because guys like Monzon and Hagler gave it honor and prestige.

    Congrats to Gervonta for making it to the big leagues. He should vacate a title if he wants experience against semi-contenders and if he's not man enough to defend in the big leagues after he gets a mandatory out of the way. This already tells me he doesn't have HEART.

    Everyone has given him huge props for getting an IBF belt. In fact, I was vocal in my support of him for Daring To Be Great, unlike his mentor Mayweather who never fought an at or near prime ATG or even higher-mid-lower mid HOF level opponent in his 19 years of boxing!

    Yeh gannicus is another troll who's now on my ignore list lol check him in another thread saying how mikey garcia quit against salido basically another attempt to boost lomachenko and discredit the others he views as a threat, no difference here

    The past greats, the past elites, even the good fighters in the history are all parts of it. Like I said, the greats become so because they do what's unexpected from a random talent or even an elite talent. To bring up Roberto Duran or Thomas Hearns is just silly. There's no shame in not being as great as guys like that whatsoever, or guys like Hagler or Monzon for that matter.

    He should've jumped up weight classes and dared to be great, which thus involves sometimes making sacrifices (p.s I don't care for Golovkin, he's not one of my favourite fighters).
